Nami is angry because she is more responsible than the rest of the crew. And them being shorter in the uptake concerning danger compared to Nami tries her patience a fair bit. Also, the trees on the ship are from her home island's tangerine orchard. Gotta fight that scurvy somehow.

I didnt actually watch the show till a few years ago and as an adult with full confidence I can say I went in expecting and knowing nothing not even the main characters name and this VERY quickly became the best anime I've ever seen. I'm kind of glad I didn't watch as a kid cause things just hit different

The calm belt is just that calm. No winds no waves. Everything comes to a standstill in it. Except its extremely dangerous as its the breeding ground of the sea kings the giant marine life in the early openings. And since its calm they notice when you enter their area.

Even if it weren't for the sea beasts, a stretch of ocean with no currents, no wind, and no movement on the ocean would be deadly as hell for pre-industrial sailing ships. You could EASILY get stranded there with absolutely no way to get out.

One Piece likes to have a lot of fun with the openings. Honestly a lot of what happens in them isn't anything that even happens in the show lol. In the original manga, the creator likes to do fun cover pages with the characters doing random things, and some of those get animated to put into the openings. Like the last one you saw, that entire first half was just fun stuff, none of that is in the story lol. Once it swapped to the serious stuff, like the guy in chains, THATS when it was showing story stuff.

21:01 some songs and openings got remixes or special versions The one at 21:01 I believe was to mark the 10th anniversary and x number of episodes so they got the cast, crew, voice actors etc to sing a special version 25:55 lots of powers and all kinds of things that go on in this series 31:51 again some songs get remixes or alternative versions “We Are” being 1 of the more iconic to the series thus a few more versions than other songs 33:03 “crazy eye” as you call him plays an important part yet gets limited screen time but I don’t wanna spoil too much

Opening 7 & 10 is the same song as opening 1 but with different version.. 7 is sang by the Japanese voice actors of the crew in celebration of 5 yrs of anime.. and opening 10 with kpop band TVXQ, remixing with rnb pop influence to it in celebration of 10 yrs of anime.

21:27 long story short: “We Are” is the poster child of one piece openings that has been remade several times over the decades and has inspired other songs like one piece opening 15 when the timeskip began. This particular iteration of We Are is sung by the voice actors of the first six strawhats and their are other versions of the song that are also sung by the entire crew.

I just love the fact that we got an One Piece openings reaction while the viewer was clearly buzzed the entire time. Hilarious.

The author of the manga likes to draw the crew having fun spending time together so the first batch of openings mostly focuses on that but doesn't really depict what's going on in the series at that point. Also there are no seasons in one piece, so 24 openings doesn't equal 24 seasons. If you like a good adventure in a vast world, a good story both funny and soul crushing, a concept of a found family, then one piece is a must watch. You might want to be careful with editing since some of these can trigger the copyright strike. Especially openings 14 and 20

The shirt you were trying to read in OP5 says "gentlecook". He's their chef, and (trying to be) a gentleman. So he got a gentlecook shirt. :) I wouldn't try to follow the lyrics of the songs _too_ closely by the way, they often don't really have anything directly to do with the series. More often than not, they're just song lyrics with a... matching vibe I guess. There _are_ also times where there's something directly relevant, but even that is usually through a layer of metaphor. So can be fun to follow along, but also not necessary. The visuals also are often disconnected from the actual events of the story, especially early on, more so just showing the characters and general things. They get more direct later - but do still keep showing just general random funny hijinks that never actually happen - anything that seems serious though, you can assume is actually relevant to in-story events.

Well it's not that the random fun stuff doesnt happen. Oda has said it himself that they have fun, train to get stronger and travel to the other island off screen. Oda doesn’t draw it but doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen.

This show is like candy coated nightmare fuel. Outwardly, it seems fun and friendly, an enjoyable ride... But when you get under the candy coated surface, you find the darkest evils of Humanity. Slavery, Genocide, Mass Murder, implied Grape... It's ALL there.

21:00 The song is "We Are!" one of the most popular openings ever, it is the same song, but it is sang/sung, by the Voice Actors of the main cast. Very good, much more fun than the original. They remix it a few times in the 20+ years of the show's running.

Please dont skip accidentaly last opening 24, some people think episode 1000 special opening is opening 24 and react without watching it

The source video you are reacting only shows 1-23..... You can search the opening 24 separately... And then for tomorrow opening 25 will be release along with the 1074 episode. There is also 1000th special episode opening also known as opening 23.5, a remastered version of the 1st opening, it was use for episode 1000 only..

Just a heads up there are actually 26 openings in one piece, Some reactors miss the final 2 thinking the 1000 anniversary one is opening 24. Opening 24 is called Paint and Opening 25 is called The Peak. Just keep that in mind.

Everyone is so confused when they reuse the first opening We Are, a second time. The cool part is that version of the song is the Crew actually singing it. So it's super special.

Please don't forget op 24 and 25, those are always forgotten or confused with the fanmade ones I can't wait for part two!

9:20 This. Fanbases for animes now have become so obsessed with the idea that something has to be overly dark and depressing to be good. We can't just have a happy, uplifting story anymore. Sure, One Piece has its fair share of sadness and darkness, but it isn't the main focus by any means, and the main premise of the show overall is about following your dreams.

The reason ruffy had a baseballshirt with numbers is that the autor uses numbers as easteregg to forshadow things , make relations with charakters or mark the year of events in real history. Same with naming , symbolic or in the manga panel cut off texts from the backround. For example 3 people in one piece are named after the real pirate teach (Thatch) newgate (blackbeard) and all have a special relationship in the story

Its starts off fun and happy, with some sad scenes, then once you progress into the story it gets dark..... now I can't stop watching it.

One Piece is my favorite story of all time, watch it Subbed and enjoy the ride!! The openings generally don't tell you a too much of what is happening in each arc, a lot of the openings that have the crew doing random things are actually taken out of cover pages for the manga which could just be a fun idea Oda had or a fan request that Oda drew. And Oda would be the sole man responsible for making One Piece! One Piece will make you laugh, make you cry, and make you go holy shit if you do watch it, it's really an amazing experience!

Jjust watch this anime. It have everything. Drama, comedy etc etc. If you watch you wil understand why Sanji has hearts in his eyes 😂

If you watch, I know for sure it will bring more subscribers in. I started one piece twelve years ago and it wasn't well know, but some how the last few years it grew in popularity with people I know. A lot of people are hyped on it, and with the live action even more so.

That “crazy eyes” guy is one of the most powerful and mysterious character of the anime, AKAGAMI NO SHANKS : RED-HAIRED SHANKS 😁

I apologize for the long comment in advance but To make it a convincing yes, the anime has been going on for 20+ years, 1000+ eps, it’s apart of the big 3 and possibly just the best anime since it does go in depth with many subjects and matters while doing what every anime does but more. It’s still going strong even to this day. Overall I can say this loud and proud, the longer the journey, the longer the adventure lasts and who doesn’t like a good adventure? The longer the journey and adventure, the more things we get to experience, good or bad, crazy or whatever. One piece just does that and it’s still not over so that means the adventure is still going on😼 I really hope u watch one piece but either which way, stay safe and be good🙏🏽

One piece is a long journey. People who didn't watch One piece think that is resembling somewhat Pokemon with the structure of the show but is not. With every arc in One piece you can clearly see the progress on their journey and the goal is clear. Story is also great masterpiece.

At the 1st half of openings there are things addded just for openings, it is not that much lets just go to a picnic, those secvents are only for openings, the 2nd half are with more anime related parts... there is a really complicated story so you have to digest every info you get and there is also a lot of action and adventure going from island to island and seeing new cultures, enviroments, races..
