​@@revivalrifle opening 25 is the LATEST opening. it is NOT the final opening. we still have a couple years to go , we are in the final saga , not the final arc. atleast in the manga , the anime is behind and changes the opening every 50ish episodes. a year from now we will get a new opening.

Zoro and Sanji are always fighting because they are very different in character. Sanji is a womanizer and flirts with almost every woman he meets (but the girls on the crew are always his queens), unlike Zoro who has a few things he enjoys, like napping and drinking, but is mainly focused on improving his swordplay and becoming the best swordsman there is (that's why you see him mostly training). They fight and compete like brother's but if the situation is dead serious they are on the same page and would trust each other with their life and sacrifice themself for the other.

Zoro's mindset is 'if two swords is stronger than one sword, then three swords is stronger than two'.

THANK YOU for including 24 and 25. So many opening reactions leave them out. 25 is recent so it makes sense but 24 always gets excluded from people reacting to outdated opening compilations.

You've got the right openings, the animators just pulled out all the stops for this arc because it's been going crazy. To elaborate on some things, the people that are animals have the ability to transform into a creature hence their weird animal traits. Luffy is made of rubber which is why he's able to stretch and inflate himself. The black coating you see is called haki and is a visualization of what would otherwise be an invisible armor in the One Piece world.

@@kianbrusselbach6106 The only reason we can see armament haki is because during Marineford people complained that it's really hard to tell when someone is using haki so Oda made it visible to the audience by adding the black color to it but for in universe characters haki is still invisible just how it was during Marineford.

​@@az639but applying armament to ur blade can eventually turn it black. And even zoro said "black blade" when putting armament on his blade. So it must be visible at least to an extent with swords or swordsman maybe.

4:08 i never noticed the lyrics at all but they match up to luffys childhood, where ace (his brother) would always call him a crybaby, as said in the lyrics luffy wants to get stronger so that he can protect his friends, and i dont think this is TOO big of a spoiler, but the lyrics "i cant find my answer" come up just as luffy sees himself with the crew that got seperated from him, he blames himself for his weakness and not being able to save them, and now hes trying to save ace with the same motives of getting strong to save someone he loves The lyrics would make more sense if you had context 😭

There are multiple parts in a lot of openings where the lyrics make a lot of sense in hindsight Especially when the lyrics are talking about the sun and it shows Luffy all the time. I also don't see anyone talking about this but op 25 literally shows g5 Luffy when the song is at the "daybreak will come" or "now it's the time of daybreak" (it depends on how you translate it) part and why did Oden want to open up Wano? he wanted to open up Wano because he believed that Joy Boy will bring a new dawn to the world and that opening up Wano is an important part to that.

they would make the MOST sense if she experienced the reason for herself

Simple breakdown of each of the straw hats abilities - Luffy - rubber body Zoro - Three sword style Sanji - only fights with his legs Nami - weather manipulation Usopp - sniper using various ammo Chopper - human reindeer with various transformations Robin - can make any part of her body bloom where she likes. Franky - cyborg with variety of weapons built in his body Brook - swordsman who can use soul based abilities Jimbei - fishman karate Anything else that you feel needs elaborating on is simply a development of their abilities or additional powers they learn later in the series so I'd definitely advise watching the show in order to see how they progress 😁

The entire and main premise of the series is Monkey D. Luffy embarking on his adventure to find Gold Roger's treasure, called ONE PIECE, and to become the next "King of the Pirates/Pirate King". Of course it's a Shonen series so Luffy all throughout his journey formed his own crew and met some allies, friends, enemies and villains.

Opening '23' was not an actual one piece opening - that was a fan edit. The actual opening 23 was a remade and more up to date version of 'we are' which was made for one episode only - which was the 1000th episode.

"Opening 23.5" does not exist on the Wiki. Not a single episode is accredited to it. It is also quite conspicuous as all of the designs are pre-skip, which would be very odd for an opening that occurs 488 episodes after the timeskip. It also does not advertise itself as "One Piece", but rather as "One Piece Romance Dawn". If you search for "One Piece Romance Dawn Opening" you will find "Opening 23.5", except it was uploaded 10 years ago and both the description and the comments section will inform you that it is from a PSP game. Get your shit together lol

One piece always gives me vibes of David vs Goliath... Where you can see normal size human goes against titan sized villians.

Beefy arm guy was a cyborg the whole time. This drastic change is merely an upgrade for him.

If you are planning on watching One Piece this is the best moment to do it, the manga (the Comic) is reaching a point where the final saga is starting to build up so that means most of the most important secrets in the story will start to get unveiled. Also, don't get afraid for the amount of chapters, everything has a reason and little events gets a impact in the scale of events, that, in the middle and long term creates worldwide events that are extremely story changers in the OP world, the autor is an absolute genius.

As I'm writing this comment, a new opening has come out for the new arc that's going on :3

the one with everyone crying at the start those were all from different scenes throughout the show where they either suffered a major loss or luffy was helping them resolve their trauma or a past problem that cut them deep. so everyone was sad.

In the world of One Piece there are different races or tribes of men and there are races of demi-humans like Fishmen (mermaid people), Minks (animal people) and there the Oni and the Giants. Also there is devil fruits that can give people a beast form(s) and there are Smile fruits that give people a permanent transformation (which sucks). 39:17.....that's not a official opening that is some fan made stuff that some one snuck into your playlist lol. 42:24 is the right one.

Many of the characters had powers from "devil fruits" a fruit that can give you a super ability if you eat one of those, but with the disadventage that you can't swim, so if you fail or jump to the sea, rivers, etc., you sink like a stone...

There are these things in One Piece called Devil Fruits, eating them gives people strange powers but being submerged in seawater saps their physical strength. (Luffy, Chopper, Robin and Brook got their powers from those. Franky has cyborg enhancements. Zoro uses 3 swords for some of his more powerful moves. Nami and Usopp don't have powers, they have special tools built into their weapons.

But you will mostly recognize them by their explosively stylish collars around their necks. This show will look like a happy fun adventure at first glance. You will have fun with the crew and their amazing adventures that are so unbelievable that the biggest liar in this world couldn't never dream them all. Nevertheless, you will encounter among others suffering on the journey. This story is not linear, it is a journey in a world that is filled with adventures and journeys of other people.

My first arc after catch up was Thriller Bark, so seeing Wano in a nostalgic light after all this time is emotional.

Oda has been writing this story for 25 years now and he still is until this day. Makes you wonder how great he is at storytelling. Eichiro Oda anticipated at first that his story will only last for 5 years since he started but no, he didn't expect it either that it will last this long.

FYI, that sequence with the Romance Sawn before op 24 and 25 is completely fan-edit stuff.

the openings dont really do this series justice... you just need to watch it, it really hits different than any other. especially the subbed version, the character writing, world building, story telling all 10/10

30:32 in the first part you asked if there were superpowers in this and now I kind of want an edit where this part of the opening plays immediately after.

A few people said 39:16 was a fan edit, but it is official. It's just the opening to a video game.

After Covid and a rise of new style with new anime like My Hero Academia and Demon Slayer by other studios, there was a major directory change in Toei, the production company for One Piece anime, and the animation style, quality and overall cinematography changed drastically (for the better) and first hints are visible in openings 22 and 23, but 24 and 25 are the ones that go far and beyond what fans knew so far. Happy to see you on this journey, now that you're caught up with the openings - time to start watching the actual anime to catch up a mere 1100 episodes (and counting). They will slowly provide you with answers and context to the contents of the openings :)

they arent best friends…they just have the same goal which is to make luffy the pirate king…so its a form of respect and willingness to coorperate to achieve that goal

what i find so amazing about one piece is too see how far the straw hat crew has come in this show. From an unknown small pirate crew with a tiny boat, unexperienced and pretty weak, to now being one of the most well known and strongest pirate crews in the entire world. And especially seeing luffy getting closer and closer to achieving his dream is so amazing to see, by now he has earned the title of being "one of the five emperors of the sea" and we all cant wait for the straw hats to achieve their dreams after all this time

Has anyone else noticed that 23 was not a real opening?? Wasn't that fanmade? I mean, it was really good and hit all the emotional bits but still, it's not an official opening. Yeah this is the same studio that animated DBZ. There's some similarities in the animation style especially for the dragons and such

So fun and so jolly until you cry and weep like a baby 😂. It has comedy and humor but it's mostly dark dark, sad, depressing and outright complete utter despair.

Classic anime tropes say that if you see the MC's close relative in an opening; with people looking sad or pensive, and then he or she is no longer in it after a short time...and the MC seems to be sad, pensive, or doing some sort of reflection/reminiscing. And the MC has some sort of item or clothing that used to belong to the relative---well, draw your own conclusions. Not to mention, the MC has aquired some sort of boss new scars...so you know whatever happened; it was rough.

Oh yea yea trust me, one piece is happy adventure without any sad moments 😂. Everyone had nice and happy childhood. Absolutely happy story....so start it with that mindset xD

So to explain the variety of characters, there are various different races in the story, like humans, giants, fishmen, animal people, etc, and races can also mix sometimes; on top of that there are also many different powers, some of which can change people's appearances, either permanently or at will, plus stuff like the guy with robo arms, so that's why there's a ton of different looking characters in the show. It's basically a journey around the world visiting many different places and cultures.

Alright I watched up to where I could watch according to how caught up I am. But yeah for the most part it appears people have already addressed your questions but to answer the ones I didn't see from a quick glance..."who's that?" you said when looking at a certain red hair you previously called "crazy eyes". Also...uhh...I thought it was signalled pretty well but the implication is that Ace, the brother, is dead and the Blonde brother (yes they are all brothers) "picked up things from where he left off" hence why he has fire powers despite there only being one of each of the power bestowing items in the show. Once again I IMPLORE you on the main channel to react to the two Super Eye patch Wolf videos talking about One Piece at the very least if these intros have peaked your interest on any level! "The Appeal of One Piece: Where to Start" and then "Why you should watch/read One Piece" and in that order since its a two part video series on One Piece as they do a good job on better communicating what's enjoyable about the series without spoiling a whole lot and spoiling a few things that I guarantee will not stick in your mind up until its actually relevant in the show.

Then you got Sniper - (long nosed guy) usopp Navigator- (orange hair girl) nami Ship doctor - (little raindeer/animal) chopper Those three are known as the coward trio as they tend to run away a lot though they can stand their ground Archaeologist- (black hair woman) robin Shipwright - (the big robot guy) frankly who is a self made cyborg Ship Musician (skeleton) is brook or his stage name soul king I’m not sure if those three have a trio name but they are the older of them all and are more grounded and mature Then later on we finally get Helmsmen - (big blue “meanie”) he’s a fish man called jeinei (spelt wrong my bad)

Oh no... you skipped "Luffy" making a Looney Tunes appearance at the ending of opening 25 😂😭 The opening ends with [ONE PIECE] letters but it continues a bit longer. You can see a certain someone peeking out of the title and then making a run for it. Like a Pixar animation or one of those animated titles.

His name is shanks. He gave Luffy his hat which was given to him by someone else prominent. Luffy at one points says he's going to surpass shanks and become pirate king after Shanks saves his life. Its the start of his dream and so Shanks gives him his hat tells him its a precious treasure to him and asks Luffy to take care of it and return it when he becomes a respectable pirate. So he's both Luffy's goal and reason he became a pirate. He's also who you have been calling crazy eyes for the entire thing haha.
