i had this song copied onto a music cassette, and after having played it very often, the tape got entangled, and the song therefore was played backward as second track - and this wild word song sounds VERY fantastic also BACKWARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Dieser Titel wurde auf BARRY RYAN 3 veröffentlicht. Als Komponist wurde PAUL RYAN angegeben, Cat Stevens war nicht amüsiert darüber....

MikeAmiga ,I read somewhere,Paul wrote it for cat Stevens during their common time in London,but I also read that Cat Stevens wrote it for Barry and I think that is the truth.

naja an sich hat Cat Stevens, wie er damals hieß, den Song für Barry Ryan als Single geschrieben. Dieser wollte dieses Lied jedoch maximal als B-Seite von einer Single-Vinyl rausgeben, sodass Cat Stevens dann kurzerhand selbst diesen Song veröffentlichte...

Auch Cat Stevens Version erschien als Single, in Europa Island 6014 042. Barry Ryan´s Fassung erschien erst 1971 auf der LP Barry Ryan 3 und ist wohl der dreisteste Klau der Popgeschichte, als Autor taucht nicht Cat Stevens auf, sondern Paul Ryan. Hatten die das eigentlich nötig? Das weitere Leben des Songs: Jonathan King (1987), Maxi Priest (1988), Mr. Big (1993) etc etc...

Ja,das ist die richtige version !!!Cat Stevens hats für Barry geschrieben, dem hats wohl nicht so gefallen,so das C.S. es selbst aufgenommen und einen riesenhit gelandet hat! Die Ryans haben nix geklaut. Warum Paul als songwriter aufgeführt wurde? Weiss der fuchs ;)Da wurde wohl einfach nur schlecht recherchiert.Auf den meisten" best of" CD s sind verschiedene falsche angaben drauf.Bei einigen songs die Barry mit " the Verge" aufgenommen hat steht Paul Ryan/W.McKellar. .Willi McKellar hat aber niemals mit Paul gearbeitet sondern nur mit Barry
