Absolutely brilliant. The melody, the arrangements, the intermissions during the song. Changes of rhythm, soundscape, strings that rock you between dreams and the reality of an unobtainable love... The drummer is a mad man on this recording as he really set the tempo in every sections of the song. To make this song so successful you have to have a great intro, and boy it takes off as the first few notes really catch you. The symphonic style, melodramatic and so grandiose very evocative of a story about to be told.... Genius.

I love seeing how many fans are still writing about Barry. I created a channel and page dedicated to him this year as I wanted to honour Barry and Paul Ryan and remember them fondly. They were such lovely men and their music lives on. There may be a 'new' album published soon as ( I shared it on my channel) Barry and Paul recorded a whole album in 1977 under the alias of "HERO". So we are all awaiting this album. I have all the relevant information about the album and also what happened on my channel, warmest regards, Tia

c,est la vie..his mother was a delicate and great singer .. his twin brother..a brilliant and original composer ,and he was ..the intensity embodied in his vibrant and powerful voice .. well ... so it is no coincidence that this unusual family trilogy .. will bequeath us forever..this formidable and incomparable song .... merci beaucoup ... to you !!!

Loved the 60's. Have to say, I was a lucky young man, My parents split, But us kids had a great time, think, looking back, they were so consumed with their affairs, they gave us complete freedom, and we often stayed out till dark, We never knew their troubles, in depth, we were kids, But we loved them dearly.
