I always left 6 old pint sized washed empty milk bottles on the front porch near the door step for the milkman to collect on Friday morning. He would then replace them with 6 new pint bottles of milk with those aluminium seals on the top of the bottles ❗️That was in the 1970s. In 1980, the milk man lost his job & I had to go down to the local supermarket to buy cartons of milk ❗️I was just a kid back then, I'm 58 years old now ❗️

"No Milk Today" is a song that was written by Graham Gouldman and originally recorded by British pop band Herman's Hermits. It was first released as a single by the Mancunian group in the UK in October 1966 and, with the B-side "My Reservation's Been Confirmed", enjoyed chart success, peaking at No. 7 in the UK Singles Chart.[1] Although not released as a single in the US ("Dandy" was released in its place with the same B-side), it was popular enough to become a moderate hit when it was released there as the B-side to "There's a Kind of Hush", reaching No. 35 in 1967 (the A-side reaching No. 4). It was also a major hit in many European countries.

Those were the days Now waiting for Jesus to snatch us out of this world. Titus 2 verse 3 Rapture of the Church is at hand.
Puts me in a time and a place. Loved the song then and still do.
Ahh those old days and great old songs! 🎵 loved Herman's Hermits then and think i still do! ❤
I slipped into a bar in 78 where Herman’s Hermits were playing. I was 17 but looked a lot older. I They played every song three times. Two things that surprised me. They were tall guys and that was the longest bass fretboard I’ve ever seen. Damn they were great. The crowd was fabulous too.

Yo tengo 67 años, y aún la recuerdo, linda canción de juventud. Don't milk Today. Bueno volví a escucharla hoy 2 Junio /24. Justo para mañana no hay leche. 🎶🎶🎶🙋 Bendiciones 🙏
I was a 12 years old sad pupil, in an awfull french boardind school....and this song appeared as a miracle at the saturday's TV show, and it literally transformed my life ! Hurrah for Great Britain and hurrah for all your pop music bands who enjoyed europe since.
This is making me weep. I was nine years old and my whole life was ahead of me. I have had a good life and this song brings back such wonderful memories!

I always left 6 old pint sized washed empty milk bottles on the front porch near the door step for the milkman to collect on Friday morning. He would then replace them with 6 new pint bottles of milk with those aluminium seals on the top of the bottles ❗️That was in the 1970s. In 1980, the milk man lost his job & I had to go down to the local supermarket to buy cartons of milk ❗️I was just a kid back then, I'm 58 years old now ❗️
I like Peter Noone's voice. He can still sing today.

Amazing group!! Music that brings back sweet memories... good times! Thanks for posting.
Love it ❤️
