Barry Evans was such a talented actor! I cannot understand why didn't they use this talent, how could they just let him go?! He could make more movies - I know I certainly want to see him again and again in more films! RIP Barry Evans! You will always have a special place in our hearts - this is how you will live forever...

I am from Japan and respect and admire Barry from the bottom of my heart. I want to see his acting more. I wanna know why his acting can attract people. I want him to keep living in our hearts. I heard his death wasn't peaceful one. It's too sad that he didn't get more chance to act. I love you, Barry. You should come back to act again and make us smile.

I instantly fell in love with him once I watched British Sitcom on this June 2020, "Mind Your Language" starred by Barry Evans . I was not born when the sitcom was aired on TV but I think it was the most hillarious and entertaining sitcom I've ever watched. I have also searched news about his biography. It seemed bitter sweet life for him. Anyway I'm proud of him and may his soul rest in peace. Cheers from Indonesia.

Knowing barry evans background,i cant imagine the real feeling he felt while in the movie mentioning a word 'mother'...some people who where abandoned at a very young age couldn't mention a parent or guardian...but barry evans was great..he was living what fate brings him..😔was missed..

Yes !!! His telephone lines had been cut, his credit cards were missing and his car had been found driven by other people on the day of his death. The coroner suggested that the will being nearby could be taken as a suicide note, but the Police said it was unlikely.

@custardaghost Ah yes, Play Away.. with Brian Cant... That was a different era altogether. Tony Hart too was a good'un... Re Crown Court, I didn't watch it because it seemed too serious - i.e. factual drama :) - but the theme tune stuck in my mind nevertheless, the trumpety one that is (Janacek's Sinfonietta, mov. IV, I've discovered).
