I dont know how i got here 😂 but fascinating! As a teenager in the 70's i used to get my (at the time) trendy leather soled loafers soled and heeled at my local cobblers. They always came back like new and I always wondered what magic these guys did to shoes. Think I'll subscribe 😂

I could never walk in these shoe due to the handsome artwork on the soles. I am across the pond from you and have watched many of your vids and I can't help but laugh with the Jerk Off and Hard On products. I see how you "slide it in there".....LOL

I never really thought too much about how my shoes were constructed, but after having watched a lot of your videos and how certain shoes are made and repaired does give me more appreication for the folks that want to put forth the effort in keeping their shoes for many years to come. I assume its mostly boots that have cork and need a sole repair since most athlethic gym / shoe wear are plastic / foam.

Up to? Just spent 2 hours conditioning and restoring a very special leather jacket. It belonged to a very good friend that I sadly lost almost 20 years ago. I used Saphir lotion and Canadian creme on your recommendation. It looks stellar! I've had it conditioned professionally through the years and it never came back looking this good. Now I know I can keep it looking great for 20 more years. Cheers!

I hope your shoulder heals without surgery! Go easy on it. My right one is tore up and I refuse surgery. At my age and healing and recovery time just isn’t for me. I tore it about 7 years ago and it continues to heal. You’re a young pup so don’t over do it while it heals. Thanks for an awesome video.

I do wonder where did he get his passion from because this is quite a unique craft to master? Though does it matter haha look at me I don't know anything about shoes nor do I really care about them much but the moment he uploads I'm here to watch it, there is just something amazingly calming and relaxing about this mans videos.

He goes into it in earlier videos. Started working under a master cobbler, ended up buying his own business after learning his craft. Jobs such as this are sadly dying out as people don't fix their possessions much anymore, plus there's not many around to teach the newer generation. Hopefully Dan takes on an apprentice eventually to pass the knowledge on. Maybe he has already. It's definitely something I'd have been interested in learning as a youngster.
