I called him a Craftsman, but changed that to Artist after those 1500 quid shoes he worked on!

One of the things I like about Dan is that even though, based on this video, I have no common interests whatsoever (apart from the obvious), he seems like such a nice guy that we would probably get on well anyway

Such a beautiful soul, I mean really, the passion that he has about his family and his art in shoe repair! Is astounding to me, especially the love he has for his mother, just like me! That we have in common. Such a family man, good sense of humor, when it comes to ducky, and really charming! I could watch his videos all day. Just fell in your channel for no reason and watching your work brought me sweet memories of my grandfather who was a cobbler himself. I've been to Mayan ruins (Copan) in Honduras years ago - highly recommend. Honduras is a bit more fractured now than when I went but nonetheless a beautiful country full of amazing people. I had worked in a small village right outside of La Esperanza.

It was very nice to hear about you. You obviously look more like a Rock Star. I am sure you would also succeed in singing after seeing all your persistance of good quality craftsmanship with such an entertaining fashion. I grew up in Guatemala were the Mayan Civilization lived and I saw those temples many times . You will not regret it specially the sunsets on top of the Tikal Temple. May I add, If you get a chance I recommend hiking the Acatenango volcano it's something especial. Greetings from Texas.
