I'm going on 45 years old and I grew up watching Roland, Bill and Orlando. I think they were on TBS. If I met any of em I would probably cry like a baby.

I just love your genuine enthusiasm. There are way too many videos that just seem fake - too much forced drama and too many over reactions. Thanks for continuing to make the same kind of episodes on KZread as I loved to watch on television when I was a kid.

Another great video..I caught a 6 pounder yesterday evening on a frog near the Taylor Creek locks ...I always start and finish my day with the frog....The only reason I started using frogs was from Roland Martin Outdoors..... I'm 66 and yes you can teach old dogs new tricks....

Two of the best balanced guys I've ever seen. Roland at his age walking around on them rocks and not falling, sitting on that ice chest on the car topper boat. I'm reminded of days when I was stationed at Homestead AFB and we fished the canals on and around the base. Some even had landlocked Tarpon. Those places didn't hold any bass unless they were big though. Good memories. Thanks.

I hate heat fishing, I am a fall and winter guy.....lol

I had the same rock point trout fishing 🎣 in the white river in north Arkansas highly highly recommend it. Bull shoals lake feeds it. Rent or get an rv. Their are some giant trout very finicky first day I hit the river at evening four thirty 🕟 cooler temp caught three to four then for the remainder about two a day. I would walk in the water while the river was drawn down. Never caught anything that way went back to the rock point did far better. I just like 🎣 catching something is a bonus.

I could listen to this guy talk about just about anything.

Mr. Martin, I noticed you used a predominantly white frog in this episode of bank fishing. Can you share what color a frog you use under what conditions? Like, when you use a buzz bait when overcast and cloudy/drizzly. White for bright sunny days? What about when to use a dark, say, brown or black frog? Green frog? Thank you so much for excellent instruction and pointers!

The main reason I use a white frog is so that the camera can see it better!

Roland, As an older angler do you recommend going out alone on trips like this (it appears you had a cameraman with you). If this was a Bill Dance video I would have expected him to have fallen in the canal and then this would be one of his blooper reels.

I lost a 10lb+ bass tonight. And a $7 spook. Broke 15lb monofilament right before I grabbed him. Roland wouldn't have lost him lol

Teckel USA sprinker frog. It comes with one spare tail but I would order some more tails. Available at Tackle warehouse.

Im from Delaware and I know just what you mean. When I visit Florida and go fishing they are always on my mind cause you cant see them half the time. Maybe if I moved down there and knew the area.

Lots of small ones up to 10 foot which aren't dangerous!
