The wife and I just got done vacationing over in Sebastion. She spent all week on the beach, and kayaking in the lagoon, and I spent all week on Headwaters. Cool place...first time I've been there. *I saw Roland's truck there every day when pulling in, and every day when pulling out. Wish I would've seen him out on the water.* Caught two of the biggest bass I've ever caught this week. Short of that, it was a bit slow. We had a hell of a heat wave though. Short of yesterday, and today it was 100 give or take. I can only thank God that FL's humidity is incredibly low right now.
Great update Roland. I really enjoyed fishing with you in May, 2022. It was the best fishing trip ever. I'm ready to do it again.

Roland Martin spent most of his life trying to help the World's fishermen have better results on the water. The Heddon 'Zara Spook' is one of the most popular, and oldest top water lures. Especially with treble hooks, many Tarpon get away, which is all part of the fun and excitement. Rolland has done so much for the tackle industry, keeping all these little shops alive.

We love hearing from you. I've watched you for 40-50 years....Moved to Fl 25 yrs ago. Had leg/toe amputations last few yrs but need to get a boat and get back fishing again.
Lots of great pond fishing too ! Amazing what lurks in weed infested waters. Thanks to the plastic worm theres a great way to get at them. Your video is spot on . Your the best.

Shiner fishing is boring and no different then pan fishing with worm and bobber. It’s much more fun to use artificial and the challenges that come with trying to catch them.
I've seen guys that only use lures that can't catch on shiners. Knowing how to do both can be fun and Roland is one of the best at both, a true legend. I'd shiner fish with him any day over lures with anyone else lol.

Roland im 55 ive been night fishing for 20 years. Im in west palm, ive got 4 10 pounders out of the same lake fishing at night. CUght them all on 10 inch plus black worm
