the drummer is a godess! she did not playes the drums to give the song rythm she make it to give own sound to the song.

Isn't that how it''s supposed to be done? Yeah, dunno why it took me so long to find this band. Bits become Jpop-esque, but on the whole, pretty solid. I also like that it's pretty clear that they're playing their own instruments. A low bar, to be sure, but that's where we are these days. Still, a solid group. I'm slightly peeved that their handlers seem to think they need a gimmick, the silly maid's costumes. Have you ever seen housekeeping staff with those get-ups? Or that could rock this hard?

@@tananam9782 The maid costumes wasnt the idea of "handlers", Miku Kobato(rythm guitar/vocals) originally used to work in a maid café which are pretty popular in Japan, and came up with the idea herself when she first started the band in 2013. Its used as a direct contrast to the aggressive music she was writing. Gimmicky...yes...but something forced on them by a "handler" or management...definitely not.

I love Japanese music purely because I don't understand it. The sound profile of Japanese is just awesome, and the way sounds are consistently pronounced in Japanese make it so much better than any music in any other language.

本堂の中では靴を脱いでの演奏。流石メイドさん、礼儀を心得ていますね。

初めてBAND-MAID の曲聞いたのがこの曲で、 かっこよすぎて脳天から痺れ、鳥肌たった。 そこからずっとファン。周りにどんなに 聞いてほしいと訴えても聞いてくれないんだけどね。 私はかっこいいものと美しいものを見るために生きてるから、 その両方を兼ね備えたこの子達はまさに神よ。

45歳の俺は3週間前にKZreadでこのバンドを知りました。 30年以上散々ロック、メタルを聴いてきたけど、ここまで熱く夢中にさせてくれるバンドはそうそうない。 ロックってこんなに自由でエキサイティングで楽しい音楽だったのかと目から鱗。

She's shredding that guitar like she's trying to get rid of evidence. I'm glad I stumbled across this band, these ladies are absolutely badass!

@@thebunyip4037 Akane also has pads on her drums so they aren't noisy. You can see them in a few clips. If they filmed in the summer, the noise of the cicadas would have drowned out anything anyway,

妙法寺にお参りしてきた。杉並区堀之内にある大きなお寺。周りを住宅街と商店街に囲まれ、すぐ近くを環七が走っている。境内は近所の参拝客も多く、保育園児たちが集団で走り回っていたりと結構賑やか。 7年前の話とはいえ、こんな賑やかな中でどうやってMV撮影したんだろう、貸し切り？それとも周りにギャラリーがたくさんいたのかな？妄想は膨らむ。 ちょうど若いお坊さんが3人いらっしゃったので、撮影エピソードを聞いてみたんだけど、当時はまだ誰も妙法寺に居なかったとのことで何も聞けず。残念😢　それでも彼女たちと同じ景色を見て同じ空気感を体験して、勝手に自己満足に浸っている。

Dang, I must be really creepy, because I check the Twitters of all five members of Band-Maid periodically. Re "sweet tweets", it's interesting how the personality of each band member is reflected in her writing style. Kanami tweets cute and sweet, Misa tweets cool. Miku's tweets are all ". . . po!" but her song lyrics are some of the most intelligent being written in Japanese popular music today, with allusions to anime, classical literature, and Buddhism, puns, clever rhymes, unusual meters, alliterations, double entendres - it's really difficult to translate all that, but the recent translations are certainly better than the older ones. Individually and collectively, musically and lyrically, Band-Maid is one of the smartest bands in popular music. Now, let me get back to Twitter . . .

That little *pause* just before Kanami blisters through her short solo... It gets me every time. And the outro! I remember when so many bands couldn't figure out how to end a song so it would just fade away, lonely and sad, as they repeated the chorus forty times. But these ladies know how to END a song. Wow.

Born for this... this was their destiny, not salary work, no menial BS... this girls where BORN to be heavy metal stars! And OH MY GOD... talent in strides! Sugoi!

The drummer has really the true energy of metal.

しかし６年越しでこんなにはまるとはおもってなかったです。イントロからみんな素敵で可愛くてキラキラして、最高です。っぽ✨

この曲が収録されてるデビューアルバムは発売当時買って、国内で知名度上がる前に海外公演に力を入れてる姿を見てた。2014年あたりにデビューしたガールズバンドは、雑誌Burnで特集されるくらいたくさん出てきてて、BANDMAIDもその一つだったな。5年以上ぶりの超久しぶりに検索したら、視聴者が爆増してて驚いた。活動が結実する黎明期をリアルタイムでそれとなく追えていたのは、運が良かったのかもしれない。

So this is where rock has been kept alive!

I absolutely LOVE watching Kanami thrash around like a woman possessed !

Regardless of how rated Band Maid are, I feel like they're still underrated. Its so hard finding rock music that doesnt suck balls, specially post 90's. I don't know how these guys pump out solid jams at the rate they do, and I dont care, these guys rock, which is rare these days.

Wow! What incredible passionate intensity! These young Japanese women put many male rock bands to shame! You go, girls! The Universe is the limit! Love you!!🥰💕🥀✌️

I got started listening to BAND-MAID when I stumbled across their song Thrill and have been hooked since. This song is absolutely frantic in energy, especially Akane's massive high-speed drumming! At 1 minute and 22 seconds, Miku's expression sends chills...

可愛らしくもキュートなメイド服が、見慣れると不思議な事にフランス革命時代の飾り付きの戦闘服のように凛々しく見えるのはなぜだろうか・・・ 　愛苦しくもカワイイ容姿と衣装が、彼女たちの音楽を実際以上に激しくも強烈に感じさせているとしか言いようがない。

@@DMiyash248 l saw her photographed with Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin after he watched Band-Maid perform in Tokyo in 2016. Mr. Page said Akane was the reincarnation of John Bonham and Akane was star struck and said she received much encouragement from Mr Jimmy Page-san. She promised to do all she could to make sure she lived up to that encouragement. Band-Maid is the best hard rock band on the planet today. Sacramento loves this band.

Please don't, use it as an inspiration to practice harder, and save up to buy the equipment you need to get the sound :-) I feel the same listening to MISA, but I bought a new 5 string because that is what she is playing. I now have 5 basses, an Ashdown bass rig, a few effect pedals, a wireless system. I'm loving learning from MISA and practice when I have the time :-)

Congratulations on 15M!. this was the song that got me hooked years back.band-Maid breathed new life into me and quickly became my favorite band ever .I was finally listening to what I knew was missing in music for so long.
