As a bassist myself it's really humbling. There's just so much groove and talent from nearly every Japanese rock bassist. I can't even hope to compete with that. And it's almost never buried in the mix.

I've been listening Japanese music from Europe since the 70's. Unsurprisingly YT reccomends nice stuff I already like.

Had this on repeat 13 years ago! I miss Stereopony. I still treasure their signed albums! At least after they disbanded in 2012, Band-Maid formed and they're carrying their torch in good hands! KZread recommended this band 3 or 4 years ago because I listen to rock but I didn't pay attention to them because I thought J - rock would suck but I was wrong. Now I think this is one of the best rock - bands ever. Sorry I'm honest but that's the truth.

if you also enjoy stoner rock/metal i'll suggest Stoned Meadow of Doom(SMOD, it's a festival over in Europe) and 666Mr.Doom youtube channels. it's an absolute fucking gold mine for some of the best Rock and Metal from around the world! also Wherepostrockdwells has a lot of really good stuff as well. never smoked or touched the stuff but god damn i love the music!

because Japanese songs mostly is about their lyrics and then the beat if i were to sing something at least i know the lyrics is good/beautiful

I remember that I was completely addicted to this song when I was 10 years old, 8 years later KZread decided to recommend this song to me, I can't stop going back to my childhood when I listen to this masterpiece

I can't believe I got recommended this song after 8 years again. I used to get ready to school listening to this when I was 13 and now I'm 21. Time flies!
