Their first real song, it's a 10!

Damn fine music for their first song written and arranged by the very young band. Kanami had been writing songs and having them rejected for almost 2 years but finally the management recognized the talent they had in this group, and this was the start of their signature style.

My favourite song. Thanks you guys. 🙂

This was the first song written by them to be accepted by management. And they never looked back. When I think of all the rejected songs we'll never hear though it makes me ill.

The suits finally let loose of the band's creativity and the rest is history. Kanami is a genius. Best rock band on the planet.

I love their pop-punk songs so much. Saiki really shines on these songs.

Well let me tell you about a story about a group named *BAND-MAID* A group of lovely girls who played rock music that thought was dead And then one day *BAND-MAID* went to the record producers And the next thing you know they started writing on their own *Alone* that is the first song they wrote on their own Well the next thing you know *BAND-MAID* is now and free To write their own music as they shouted out with glee They said *Domination* is where you oughta be And they pack up their gear to make history... 🤠 🐎 🐦 🎀

Once they were left "Alone" by their record / management companies to create what they wanted, well... look what they did. Alone's somewhat sad, heavy yet empowering story (topics Miku's known for writing about), up against Kanami's up-tempo, complex yet rockin' music is quintessential Band-Maid. BAND-MAID is an important influence and contributor to the music industry with a continuous, growing worldwide fanbase. But to me, they are just the best sounding, best writers of hard rock music, and the most fun, joyous group of musicians to come along since the Beatles! Thx, Lee Jay & Stan!

You have to love the solo and the lead in to the solo..."I want to go away in 3, 2, 1 go" 🎸and Kanami "sings". Many argue one of her best solos to date. As for Saiki's voice, this song was before her vocal cord polyp surgery in the summer of 2017. Since then, with new vocal training due to the surgery, her voice has been developing year after year. Becoming fuller, stronger and rounder. There is an impressive documentary series on the Ohrenje channel and the Saiki episode, they show the progression on her voice from the surgery. The entire 7 part series is amazing and I know 7 part sounds like a lot, but trust me. The time flies by and some have done reactions to it. The are very high quality, with great production, very entertaining and extremely informative. It will give you so much respect for the members. The series starts with Saiki --> 2nd Kanami --> followed Akane --> up next MISA --> and ends with 3 episodes devoted to Miku. Ohrenje has been updating the series with more updated information, so there are two versions of the first two so far, so there is a new and an old version for Saiki and Kanami. TBH, both are great and there are some things in the first versions not included in the second, so it great to watch both. Enjoy the journey. PO! 🕊 🤘😆🤘

Good catch on the vocals I think. Even though Saiki-san is an alto, usually, Miku-chan sings the lower part in harmony. But in this track, it’s the reverse. Saiki-san’s vocals was getting worse in this period culminating in surgery.

This song *Alone* has been one of my favorites.. For me a *masterclass* In fact the album *Just Bring it* has this song on it. One of my favorites you guys #HighlyReActiveReactions should check some tracks off of it. #BandMaid 🤘❤‍🔥🤘

Heard Kid Rock on the radio ripping off Lynyrd Skynyrd and Warren Zevon, thank fck I was able to play some BAND-MAID asap to cancel out the toxins. B-M is a musical force of nature and we're all the better for it, never not a ten out of ten, cheers 👍🍻

Back in the early 90's , as a part of my FedEx duties, I made regular stops at Rob Richie's apartment to to pick up his demo cassettes for delivery to a record company. He was a good guy... always polite and professional. That guy,of course, became Kid Rock. Other couriers had a similar experience with a kid named Marshall Mathers. Later to become Eminem. 🤔

You guys haven't even scratched the surface of BAND-MAID's extensive Power Pop repertoire. Try OMVs for 'Blooming' it's a Masterpiece, and 'Unleash' where they appear in Anime form.

"Power Metally".....glad I was here to witness "a first" in the English language.......LOL! MISA still on her four string bass, Akane with her little hat (from MISA) Miku with her Rickenbacker bass she could still barely play, Kanami on her Addictone guitar and pre-vocal chord polyp surgery Saiki on the verge of vocal struggles could STILL kick a lot of todays band's asses.
