I have to admit, Band-Maid is growing on me! They're super tight in the riff dept, and the music is fun and engaging! Thanks so much again to @RogerCahnce5309 for the suggestion!
Thank you so much for taking the time to spend with me today, and I hope you enjoyed your stay! If you did enjoy yourself please consider subscribing to my channel, I’d be mighty obliged if ya would! :)
Peace & Blessings to you and yours,
Dragon

Really different can be said about SO MANY BAND-MAID SONGS. It's almost as if Kanami has all the rock sub-genres written out on little pieces of paper in a hat and she closes her eyes and draws two or three every time she wants to write a song. ❤

It's true Band-Maid may include "genres" in their songs, but they defy being stereotyped into a single one. They make music that fits the song with sound, lyrics, and vocals, Their goal every time is to serve the song.

Once they were left "Alone" by their record / management companies to create what they wanted, well... look what they did. Alone's somewhat sad, heavy yet empowering story (topics Miku's known for writing about), up against Kanami's up-tempo, complex yet rockin' music is quintessential Band-Maid. BAND-MAID is an important influence and contributor to the music industry with a continuous, growing worldwide fanbase. But to me, they are just the best sounding, best writers of hard rock music, and the most fun, joyous group of musicians to come along since the Beatles! Thx, Smokin' Drag!

As soon as the rest of the band kicks in Saiki tosses the mic stand never to be used again. Blink and you'll miss it

    Early Band-Maid had a very pop-punk sound.

Every new Band-Maid song is a new blend of genres. With most bands you hear half a dozen songs and you’ve heard their entire range. And a majority you only need to hear two or three to get the full scope. With Band-Maid you better listen to damn near every song because you are gonna find a unique song for every possible combination of rock, punk, pop, and metal you can think of and just as often they’ll have prog elements or wholly unique influences as well. How often have you heard someone say, “This song reminds me of Run-DMC and Tom Morello?” Or “GNR and Paramore” or “Joan Jett, The Donnas and Pantera?” These are combinations that don’t exist anywhere outside of Band-Maid.

Their composition lead, Kanami Tono, responded to the comment, "Band-Maid doesn't write bad songs.", by saying "We write lots of bad songs, but they all wind up in Saiki's trash can!"

Band Maid is a genre brother. Pop, punk, prog, speed, rock or metal. They put all this together and you get the incredible Band Maid sound

Alone was the first song accepted by their record label that was composed by Kanami, Lyrics by Miku and arranged by Band Maid and was on their 3rd EP/Mini Album , Brand New Maid. An avalanche of music from Kanami ensued and I think only 8 songs since have not been entirely their own work, which includes 2 recent ones which are collaborations with Mike Enziger of Incubus and the yet to be released collab with The Warning.. Previously their songs were written by in house writers.

Great reaction. Thank you Ambassador Roger Chance for exposing more people to the AWESOME Maids. You're right Master GSDragon...their songs do vary and it's hard to pigeon toe them into one genre. Band-Maid is the genre. They mix and match at will. Enjoy the journey...there are only about another 120+ great songs to go. PO!🕊 🤘😆🤘
