You can treat in two steps. 1. Mix 1kg of Borax, 1kg of boric in 1000 liter water in a 4m x 3m x 1m container. Submerge the bamboo for one week and shade dry for 2-3 weeks. 2. Mix 1kg wax with 100 liter engine oil (it can be any oil, but we do it with throw away engine oil because it is the cheapest). heat them and apply on bamboo. If you follow these two steps and oil the bamboo every two years, your structure will last for decades. For more information, visit us at www.banglabari.org
