Jimin was originally a hip hop dancer, good in free style, he won every street battle back then, after that he trained in contemporary during his first year in high school in Busan highschool for art, and then he moved to seoul to become an idol in BIGHIT entertainment, so he switched back to hiphop again. His style includes street, modern dance, ballet, Korean dance and martial arts 8 years of Kumdo/Kendo and he has a black belt in Taekwondo.

He studied contemporary dance and is a natural hip-hop dancer. In addition, he practiced Taekwondo and Hapkido, and they played a role in the strength of his dance and the lightness of his movements.

Sorry to correct you but Jimin wasn't a hip hop dancer originally but an extremely gifted contempory and modern dancer. You are confusing him with Hobi who was already a renowned hip hop street dancer who won numerous prizes and every street battles before becoming a trainee for BigHit. Jimin had a hard time adjusting his style at the beginning with hip hop cause he was to gracious (Jimin himself had talked about it a lot in the past) but then he perfect his Hip hop technique and found his style using contempory, martial art, hip hop etc... and the rest is history.

I’m always amazed when Jimin dances. Every step is perfect, his hands and finger positions are always so precise, his feet are always lightly placed and land exactly where they are supposed to and light as a feather - it’s like he has already made every move in his head 2 seconds before he executes it. I would give anything to be in a practice room with him and just stare at his artistry even for 5 minutes. His dance is perfection in every way.

The pointed toe would be nice but the flexed foot is common in Modern dance in which he has trained. Im amazed he can maintain this skill while doing so much pop dance. I bet he would've made principal dancer in ballet if he chose that. He's a pleasure to watch. I want more of this Jimin every year.

Thank you thank you. Slowing down is the way to enjoy and understand what he does. I've watched another solo cam of the Black Swan group choreo, they were in black, and it was the first time that I slowed down, because my eyes couldn't understand what his fingers were doing right from the beginning. I'm so happy that he is having these moments on stage, I wish he keeps bringing his unique style into the popular music. And I believe that your job helps a lot to spread the knowledge of his uniqueness.

And he also studied kendo (Japanese swordsmanship) for like 8 years And he also knows few other martial arts including a little bit of Chinese Martial Arts Anyways, I'm not a dancer but I can tell he's really impressive sadly most people don't appreciate it, or just thinks what he's doing isn't that hard and like professional dancers can do it to But in my opinion, it's nahh First of all, even professional dancers can't pull that off without sufficient core strength and insane flexibility that he has Second of all, the way he dances with the beat might seem easy but the way he expresses the beat or the little shake he does isn't something you can pull off without power Those "little" shakes aren't little at all, you can see that amount of power just watching on the screen, so imagine it live The power of the shake should be thrice as powerful to able to show that amount of shake in the vid He's absolutely incredible Not mentioning the fact that he has insane control of his body and what's makes it more amazing is Plus, he never miss a detail, not even his expression when he's on stage And not just that, he's not only limited on ballet or contemporary dancing But he's also great in other type of dance as well, like robotic dance, or dance that involves a lot of acrobatics or locking or popping In a way, he's dance is like a form of art that cannot be imitated He deserves more recognition 👏 And I kinda also feel sad, his effort dance are just small fragments of the MV If he could show that dance live in that theater, it would have been better

I've also been going through your site and learning more and wondered if you noticed how JK and V have both been doing, I think its either 3rd or 4th position in some vids. There is a clip on your site for I'm fine, I think, that shows them doing it. I love that I can now see that the others have been learning from Jimin too. Gives me the warm fuzzies. 💜

Before the shooting began like the part he was sitting talking about the perfect circle looking like a moon and the part he is staring at the camera standing still. I was just wondering Why you skip those parts and other parts at the end was it because your focusing on the dancing to break down and talk about those moves of his then I get it but really you should watch the whole thing it's more enjoyable .

I believe she watched the whole video but edited out those parts that don't pertain to the dance as she is a dancer giving commentary about Jimin's technique. I'm sure she appreciated all those other shots of Jimin as we all do😊

When you create a reaction video, you can do what you want. If you don't want to see the entire thing, no one is forcing you to, so I'm not entirely sure what the purpose of your comment was other than to be negative... wow.
