Thank you so much for sharing all of these beautiful barres and centre work!!! It feels like being there with you in your wonderful studios and they help so much to keep in shape during this though time. Also thank you from the bottom of my heart for the positive energy you are sending through classes, it really boosts one's mood when practicing alone at home. Live piano music is gorgeous too!!!

Thank you so much. I woke up early to view this - so excited. I think you can still do some local pirouette drills (don't need to waltz across floor). Same for medium jump, e.g. front, side, back, side. Most who do this value the technical training, and aren't doing it as entertainment or fitness class, so I think no need to be too "dancy." But I love particularly beat exercises and hope you can continue in this direction and carry on with the class. This is the best series - clean technique and wise cues. And is Rex a former dancer? He marked with his hands, and he could anticipate. Looks like he has danced before.

I cannot tell you how much I love these classes. Ernst and Rex, you are saving me. The mere act of dancing changes everything. I am not a professional dancer, but for a moment at the bar, I can imagine... and the depression lifts.

As a professional figure skater--and Ernst is just a delight--with a background in RAD ballet, this series has been extremely helpful in keeping my muscles malleable and strong while many ice rinks are closed again. I hope everyone is enjoying these classes as much as I am. Keep the love of performing alive and stay safe.

Excellent instruction. After moving back to remote country Australia where I grew up, from the big city where I loved doing ballet class and other arts, I despaired of ever doing ballet again because there is vast flat open spaces here, but nobody does ballet in the bush, but the kangaroos can do very good leaps and bounds.... (I learned ballet from my European immigrant parents who just knew the basic steps). But I kept my old ballet shoes for some irrational reason, though there was no hope of ever being able to do it again. I'm glad Idid because this has inspired me to dustthem down, get back into physical shape, find a place where locals won't think I'm crazy doing such things and try to do it using these great instructional videos. The classical piano music is great. I like modern music, too, but for modern style dance, not classical ballet class. And I prefer a male instructor but seeing the good female dancers demonstrating the feminine moves.

Just a pleasure to have such beautiful music and exercises to keep my spirits up! Thank you

Especially for this Centre work, I appreciated the occasional small windows showing the entire picture of him demonstrating the movement while the bigger, main screen might be focusing on something else, many times his footwork. Dear Ernst and Rex, Thank you so very much for providing this valuable resource to dancers. I am an amateur, older dancer, but ballet keeps me going when my stressful job and the general pressures of life become too much. Today, I did not feel much like dancing, but after making myself put on my slippers and roll up my carpet, I cued up one of your barre classes, and by the time I was done with that, between the beautiful music and the challenging choreography,I felt like taking center as well. It's not an exaggeration to say it made my day. That little coupe exercise is a devil, and I'll be working on it for days to come! So bless you, and stay safe and healthy.
