I find that keeping my blood sugar stable has helped balance my hormones (I have PCOS), so cutting out refined carbs and junk food has helped tremendously!

For chronic stress/anxiety I would highly recommend maca root and ashwaghanda, they work amazing! I would also recommend cold showers, 10 minute jog a day and silent 10 minute deep breathing a day! Try this for a week and notice dramatic changes

I'm experiencing left eyelid twitching, and major cystic acne due to chronic stress. As it's magnifying more, physically, I hope the adding of maca will help. Maybe, mushrooms? I take ashwha, holy basil, all my electrolytes, and a host of other vitamins, minerals, and herbs. Plus, eat low carb, and do intermittent fasting. I'll research it. I learned about Neem, today, an ayervedic for acne. Then, learned it could be fungal acne, too, and need to try a zinc containing damdruff shampoo. The problem I'm having is getting my breathing down. If I'm not concentrating on it, I take shorter breaths, and catch myself holding my breath. Then, involuntary sighing has started, off and on, since last week. I'll try spending more time doing concentrated breathing, and see if that helps me breath better, automatically. I take a walk most days, when I'm not having to hide my face.🤣 I just got diagnosed with sleep apnea, so getting the sleep aid should help me sleep better, thus reducing stress.

Layla Joe for how long do you take it? How long should be the break period? I was trying it but I think I may have taken it for too long, I started getting bad headaches and I sadly found out ashwaghanda was the cause, but it did help my mental before the headaches :/

I guess I’m on the right track. I’ve found meditation to be very helpful to reduce stress and anxiety. I meditate for 5 to 15 minutes throughout the day, then at night I meditate as I fall asleep. Paying attention to my breathing is key. I highly recommend it.

I think when discussing hormones it is important to underline that you (as a woman) can only balance out your hormones if you are not on a birth control pill. If you are, well, you are constantly taking artificial hormones, which are messing with your own natural hormones.

Meghan Livingstone Hi Meghan, I am on the pill and I’m wondering if you would (putting yourself in my shoes) advise me to get off of the pill if I am health conscience person trying my best to keep myself healthy. If you were to weigh the positives & negatives of taking the pill, would you get off of it? Considering I do not think I have hormonal problems at the moment. Also I’m 19 years old(:

@@sofiaadelinaaa I don't know about that. But I know that I went off the pill last year and because of my disease endometriosis it is a good therapy for me to take the pill. So I started taking the pill again. I'm feeling much better with it. I know the pill is not good in itself, but it helps me and maybe other people as well. If I didn't have this disease I would probably still be off the pill.

oneluv201 I’m sorry to hear that. I am also deficient. It’s one of the top deficiencies. Vitamin D3 is a pro-hormone and really is important to help multiple body functions but also hormones, and also plays a role in mood. Helpful tip- take around 10000 IU per day when deficient and take with healthy fats- coconut oil or milk, avocado, etc because it is fat soluble so will help with absorption. Also taking a “fermented vitamin D” helps with absorption as well. I get mine from DrAxe.com store. May need higher doses and aim for therapeutic range, which is higher than the general range. Try to get those levels up and it should help!

I stopped drinking coffee for lent and had 1 cup after church on Easter Sunday. I couldn't sleep until 5 am y'all! I am now off coffee and loving it. I am drinking Mudwtr (which is full of adaptogens! bonus.) and Dandy blend and they are both similar tasting to coffee. They both aren't coffee but close enough for me and if you are struggling to get off coffee try those two products. I still find it hard to sleep, but I notice I sleep better when I exercise that day. I'm going 3 times a week now at the gym and doing 1-2 days of at home workouts too. Oh, and I lost 30 lbs. Hoping to get pregnant soon as well. Please pray for us!

Could this possibly help someone with (pmdd) since it’s part of a hormonal imbalance? I’m going to the doctor soon to get my hormones tested out, to see what I’m too high or low on Any natural supplements you can recommend for it and for someone with anxiety & panic attacks? 💕

Can you make a video on estrogen deficiency and what to do to regulate that? I see often HIGH estrogen but I actually lack it. I was recommended Sprintec, birth control, to get estrogen. I KNOW that can't be right. I want to be natural but I can't find answers. Help!

Some great suggestions. Unfortunately I am going through the menopause early (43) and after 5 years of trying a lot I am now on HRT patches and the difference is unbelievable. The first thing I noted was the tiredness, second thing the chronic indigestion has gone. I still eat low FODMAP and have reduce caffeine once a day in the morning, I meditate twice a day and eat a varied balanced meals 3 times a day with 2/3 healthy snacks and I weight train tree times a week too. I am a person that will try the natural route first and if it doesn’t work get medical intervention. I’m hoping the HRT will help with my osteopenia which we think is due to my hormones and having to be dairy free for the past 3 years. 😊

Wow I had no idea things like bpa and others you mentioned, could effect your hormones! How scary! I consider myself quite health conscious but I will definitely be looking into the products I use.
