That first spinning-reverse seoi nage is what my sensei first developed. Nori Bunasawa taught me, and it's one of my core 5 throws! It's awesome to see it in competition.

I think Bilodid is back to Ukraine. I was in Valencia this summer, she wasn't there and people told me she had gone back. Not sure though.

Competitive judo throws these days are so stretched at times. Continuing the recent ideas, what if you'd at best get waza-ari if you go on your knees in throwing? That'd disincentivise kinda dangerous drop seoi nages. Bilodid's harai goshi was kinda in the same manner: she kicked her ankle and smashed her head on the tatami. I failed to find hip throw in that move. And I agree that any sort of sitting on the opponent's leg or pivoting your upper body on their legs should be penalized or at least not awarded points. Also what's up with the serbian versus swedish where she quite directly pushed her face from the side? Are you allowed to do that as long as it's not from the front? Because that was full hand planted on the face, not even trying to do anything else. And she happened to have a head/face injury.

Bilodid is under 57, not 52 as said in 3:34. Btw, I was remembering when she was at -48kg category and people always said that she was only dominating because she was to tall for that category and had an advantage, so she tried -52 and -57 and even though she still good, she's not even close to how good she was at the -48, so people were kinda right about her. Amazing judoka, but was playing with kids.
