Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

How much do bakers make? The answer might surprise you-and in a good way. Wild Wheat Bakery in Kent, Washington has a 7 figure revenue and has been successful enough to maintain operations even through the many challenges of 2020.
Watch Part 1: • Bakery Business Rakes ...
In part 2 of our interview with the founder of Wild Wheat Bakery, we go into more detail about how to open a bakery. Among the topics we’ll discuss are what went into buying the bakery, how he’s grown the business in his first year of ownership, as well as his plans and goals for the future.
Wild Wheat Bakery has been serving up homemade baked goods since 2000. Its revenue has only grown since its recent owner purchased the business in 2019. Now a staple of the Puget Sound community, the bakery and café’s relaxed, friendly atmosphere and artisan bread and pastries have had equal parts in its continued success.
Starting a bakery business is a lot of work, but it’s work that can pay off big time, and Wild Wheat is the proof. Whether you’re an aspiring bakery owner or a current baker looking to expand and improve, you’ll want to check out the advice in this interview.

well if people actually listen to what the guy is saying, hes not saying anything ground breaking.. he says cliche stuff and common business practice.. he didnt start the business and simply took ownership when it was already making profits and well established within the community..

So this bakery operates at a loss. 36 employees. Employees alone is over a million dollars even with the lowest wage possible ($14 an hour is not sustainable and workers will demand more). Revenue is just over a million dollars. Cost of just the current employees at $14 an hour takes up almost all the revenue. This is before the cost of rent, utility, food, insurance, etc.. This business then isn't raking "huge profits". It's either barely break even or in the negative.

I noticed that too. I was expecting turnover to be double employee costs for it to be deemed profitable.

Sure. Mostly PT with minimum pay that is clearly exploitation. Even then this company should struggle to profit. There's a reason the owner mentioned revenue and not the profit. It's standard practice when the profit is negative or near zero. Also, the fact the store needs to pay minimum and also hire as PT reveals this business shouldn't exist. People aweing over this are just supporting exploitation
