Panditji has the richest collection of Ustadji's recordings from live concerts, that are not accessible to the lay audience. I would urge Panditji to make this collection available in the public domain, for the purpose of listening. This will leave an unparalleled legacy not only for the young musicians across all the gharanas but also for countless of Ustadji's fans , particularly of the younger generation, who never had an opportunity to hear Ustadji in his prime.

I have seen many of these baithak episodes, they are quite illuminating. One request a baithak with Jyoti Hegde ji please, please!! Because I feel her experience of learning the endangered instrument is very informative for aspiring Veena students as her approach is much more relevant and realistic in modern times. 🙏

Ustad vilayet Khan Saheb not only bharat ratna he was sitar baaj ke heera he was really great surajof sitar baamj or koi bhi aisa sitarist na hua hai na. Future mei hoga. Qamar Ali Khan semis sitarist ka qsi qual hai

Is there any written documentation of the gats and bandishes which have been composed by Ustaad Vliayat Khan ?

I would even like to know the reason of having upper tumba on your Sitar in 10th baithak where you explained about Techniques of Raga elaboration.Where as UVK style sitar doesn't have it.🙏🏻 Hungry for learning music more. Shivam Kalyani

Likhte hai sikhte kaha has never bee told by UEK...without learning how one can write. Such comments are out of frustration. Talking of Kochi babu...who was my much much elder cousin...had learned or wrote? How his student has given 60 odd bandishes ? We request the musicians we would like to participate in the Baithak,to accept our invitation,as when they visit Mumbai for their concerts. It would be too expensive to specially invite them at our cost. Further our Baithaks are non commercial events. Hence we communicate with those who have friendly relations with us. Presently there are no public concerts and other COVID related restrictions. Hence....... next session? We don’t know. We are great full for your kind interest in our baithaks. Regards
