Totally agree. Seems like someone who somewhat desperately 'wanted' to be 'correct' but in fact only showed up their own dismal driving skills. Some credit must be given though that they got this to Scotty' as surely they can see that their overall performance in what most would call a simple situation was as much as purposely created for dramatic effect. This would easily have been a 'non-issue' to 98% of the population. And to hammer the horn on like that... very bad form... embarrassing even.

9:01 ...my vote for over-reaction of the week. I didn't see any brake check, just someone who slowed down to figure out what numbnuts was honking about. The horn is there as a warning, not to signal other road users of your frustration.

I’ve dubbed some bad driving Drive Like a Tradie Tuesday…a ute is compulsory! General technique is don’t indicate, brake erratically, merge like Velcro in a bullying fashion rather than like a civilised zip, exceed the speed limit ( because you’re late to the next client), double park ( to get your coffee/pie/ sausage roll on the way to the next client you’re late for), switch lanes in a speedy and nerve wracking way. You get the idea. Ideal for a video compile!! One thing they never do though, the gentlemen, is park in a disability spot!! Bus stops however are fair game.

Nice to hear the theme tune from national lampoon's holiday vacation, holiday road as sung by Lindsey Buckingham. A good choice there scotty. Police karma catches out that orange Nissan 350z i think the offending car was. When i saw that i was listening out for dexter but got the little copper off south park instead, still a good choice for that one. Bloody ranger dangers. Oh and a submitter may have suggested a new segment, jeepers creepers, refering to the idiot that was driving that green jeep wrangler. This episodes sbtf, well there's potentially two but both were as bad as each other. Nice classics at the end. My favourite has to be those mini mokes. Thankfully their canvas roovs were attached as it was wet. A lone mini cooper was amongst them as well. Can't wait for Sunday's 600th episode. What an achievement scotty!

I had a question about 13:14 .. and the lack of road markings? (edit) after a few watches i finally saw a white line at a giveway sign further back on the sliplane. Seems like really bad design.. a truck entering via the sliplane is going to needlessly bring traffic to a stop behind it, when it should be able to use that space to get up to speed. Instead, truck stops at white line, it's clear to go... they start moving... and by the time the truck has moved far enough to enter the road which was clear when they started moving, they're now having to deal with the turning traffic which wasn't there 8 seconds ago when the road was clear for them to go.

It is a give way ... no need for anyone to stop, but indicates they must give way to vehicles on that road already, so can time their merge. A truck then has time to accelerate to merge, or decelerate, as the traffic may require.

Do your sleeping at home, not behind the wheel. When lights go green %$#@ing "GO", as all those behind you also want to get through the lights. Keep left, even if you are doing the speed limit, they call it the overtaking lane for a reason.

HI Keith FYI no rule for all slip roads is for vehicle on slip road to give way with or with out line or sign however if you watch again you will see there is a give way sign and dash line !! :)

roads aren’t paid for by just a part of your rego, it’s council rates, gst revenue, taxation etc. Most of rego (at least here in Tas) is for 3rd party insurance. So cyclists (and even pedestrians) who pay tax, pay for the roads.
