I get where you’re coming from and I agree in some cases, but it’s not as simple as that…a dashcam doesn’t blink, it doesn’t check it’s mirrors and blind spot, it doesn’t have to deal with changing weather or road conditions. It’s very easy to watch these in retrospect and claim you would have dealt with the situation better

Why not just slow down and go behind? Why be in such a hurry to go nowhere and shove your way into a gap that very clearly isn't big enough for you? He wanted that small gap in front of me, he got exactly that small gap and no more; if it's enough for him, it's enough for me. There was no one behind me here, I was the last one through the lights, all he had to do was come off the accelerator and he would've ended up in the same spot. But no, he, and apparently you too, are the most important people ever to exist and we should all cater to you specifically. Fuck off, follow the law and just be decent drivers and we'll all be better off for it.

It is just a matter of time before he causes a crash. 2:57 I do have sympathy for the DC driver, but one of my rules is to never rely on a partial gap being completed. In this case you should wait for the white van to completely vacate the right lane before gassing it up. 8:47 Mistakes should be rare but they do happen. When you do something like this I think it should be required to pull over with hazard lights on and wait for 60 seconds before continuing. Any driver who does this avoids penalty for the mistake. If not, severe penalty for failing to recognise the mistake and "redress". 9:38 any ONE can safely change lanes like this, but not TWO at the same time. 10:50 not many drivers would have the knack to get into that spot 12:30 I'm gobsmacked that the bike pusher has survived to reach adult size.

No such thing as “slow lanes”. Sedan driver decided to speed up when cam car tried to overtake them. Even raged with their horn when Ute in front wanted to change lane to the left.

There is no minimum speed in left hand lane.driver was not holding anyone up. Over 90 kph you must keep to left unless overtaking.

IMO: the main difference between US dashcam comps and AUS/NZ comps is that aussies have the sense to slow down when they see someone trying to push into their lane, while US drivers will (ab)use their right of way to drive into a collision

This is not your usual comment here, but I'm wondering if someone can give me some info. I've got an XView XV10DVR Dash Cam in my car. Been there for roughly 6 months. It plugs in to the "lighter" style socket and usually the light on it is green. Had my car serviced recently at my "Holden Dealer" where I've been taking my cars, with ABSOLUTELY no problems for decades. Car came back 100%. Thing is now, although dash cam is still recording perfectly the light (was green) is now red. Should I be concerned? I'm not a techno nerd so this is a bit out of my pay grade. Thanks for any help anyone can give.

Hi Sam no the speed limit is just that the maximum you can do not requirement , you drive to road condition's so doing 10 or 20 below the limit is no issue as long as you obey all other rules , there is a law for driving too slow , but for that you would for example need to be driving around 30kmh in a 100kmh zone to be braking that law .

Hi Dave no there will no lane end sign as no lane ended the two lanes form one this is know as zip merge , if it was lane end merge there will be dash line on an angle in teh ending lane to indicate you have to give way , so here the other driver knows this they were just trying to speed up to queue jump :)
