Back Fishing in the Boat again...good to get out!

First Graeme joins Wayne for a bit of inshore boat fishing. Target species were Gilthead Bream, but GP can't resist dropping a large bait down...just in case. They move several times but finally find a productive spot for a bit of rod-rattling action. Then it’s over to Grant who has taken delivery of a special 40th year anniversary air rifle that looks very collectable. Third segment is to follow Graeme and Mike as they target Perch in a local river, with Mike getting the honours with some rod action while GP struggled...but that's fishing....Finally it’s the Random Country section, where the camera went down to deepest Somerset to record some Olden times stuff. A good watch of almost an hour in length...sit back and enjoy the film, it’s Friday, and always Totally Awesome time!!

I do too, but with the last 6 months weather I would never have got out anyway. It would still be sitting on the trailer as an ornament.

I always enjoy seeing Graeme and Wayne, managing to get out and have a fish on the boat. Seeing them catch the smaller species and in the hope that a few bigger fish should turn up. Always entertaining! More, more, more.👍

Probably not...I have been travelling a fair bit recording older material subjects and the one thing that jumps out at me is the lack of interest with younger people. Once the knowledge of how to renovate and repair has gone that's it...gone forever,unless someone records it.

@TAFishing I wouldn't know, I can only dream of boat fishing, that's why I loved your videos. Only ever been on two fishing trips then had an unfortunate run of 3 trips cancelled in a row due to weather and haven't been since. Really enjoyed it but time/money issues make it tricky, so until I win the lottery, I'll just live out my fantasies through KZread vids, and hands down yours are the best 😉

@TAFishing beach fishing is the only thing in my price range right now. Luckily I'm right on Chesil so there's plenty of fishing to be had, just wish I had my own boat to go out as and when I wanted.. that would be the dream
I live near a village called bloxham near Banbury and they do an annual steam rally, fascinating stuff. And great to see you in the boat again😊 keep em coming mate👍🏻

Used to love rolling in with the tide picking up mackerel 3-4 at a time back in the 90's just where you guys started fishing. Hayling / Witerings.

No upgrade for me ,I like the old school Spring .22 it still does the same job . I can always use Mike's PCP if I want a change.

Ha ha Graham I used to fish all those marks you were at 40 yrs ago …Sword Sands Paint rafts in Langston and the Cambrian wreck just off the front of Frazer Barracks on Eastney … the only one you missed was the Irishman wreck in the entrance to Glory Hole … or the Mulberry harbour adjacent to the ferry opposite the ECA where you launched… always good fishing on all

We fished them but had little in the way of action.
My Dad has always been into ‘classic cars’ and has always had Opel Mantas, growing up I used to spend many Sundays with him out at classic car shows and steam engine rallies, the sounds and the steam organ on your clips brought all those memories back. Sadly I just don’t see these things continuing much longer, interest and knowledge seems limited nowadays and obviously fossil fuels are the work of the devil…

That's exactly why I am trying to document them.Once gone I don't see the information on how to repair old engines being carried forward to the next generation. Pleased you enjoy them though..I have some more in the files as well,and they will be tagged on to the next fishing films.
Graeme reminds me of Fred Dibnah with some of the stuff on his channel lately.

Got films in the file of overnighters,I will drop them in now and then. I probably won't do any new overnighters with this awful weather we have been having..I'd float away ..!
Where i live peterborgh club runs local rivers . Tackle shop doesnt sell ticket . Facebook is used many dont have this so payment avoided . I have moved to this area wanting to restart fishing having moved some years ago . Wrong sorts on local town banks . Area fen drains etc unnone .

I used to get the odd pheasant with my air rifle but I've got soft as I've got older and couldn't do it now unless I was starving. Mr pheasant was too handsome to shoot anyway.
