Two amazing, nice, normal guys, with awesome hair!

I believe Ashley's dad is an anesthesiologist. He works or worked at a hospital close to my home. She grew up in a wealthy area of Virginia. My friend grew up in the same city as her and I believe they went to the same high school (not the same year or class though). I was always fascinated whenever I went to her neighborhood since my family is low income. I can see why Jared didn't feel like he could give her that life she might have wanted. Ashley seems humble and doesn't care. She loves Jared for him.

This was awesome! Jared and Ashley are so down to earth. They have worries just like we do. I love the realness that he shared. Dave, you made a fantastic choice in choosing him to do this segment.

Fantastic DWD. I love how Jared and Ashley support each other’s business endeavors. I’m not a fan of Nick at all, but I have to admit his offer to have Jared move in rent-free was very kind.

Nick is a good guy, he’s just direct and can come off abrasive and cocky but I there’s a lot more to him. I don’t have to agree w/everything someone says/does in order to like them and I realized this about Nick especially on BIP w/Jared and Ashley etc

So awesome that you got Jared for DWD. Nice hearing him in a long form conversation. It just flowed so well between you two.

It really did flow so well! It was the Rhode Island connection. This was the real deal!

Jared seems like one of the last of the normal people that used to be cast on the Bachelor franchises 😊 While I did not like how he dragged out Ashley's feelings, he does explain his realization very well, respect. Btw, I think Ashley has a degree in journalism, partly why she's one of the best franchise popcasters and interviewers, very thoughtful and professional. Great DWD Dave!

My favorite recapper interviewing my favorite bachelor nation man? My heart can’t handle it. This was a great listen. I loved getting to know Jared and his story better. His message about “one day I won’t be able to do this anymore” has brought great perspective to the last couple of days for me. ❤

Great interview, Dave! Ashley loved Jared so much she would have followed him anywhere ❤ She scared Jared on BIP bc she was so sure about him/them as a couple, and he was overwhelmed and insecure -I’m not going to live up to her expectations/standards- and I love that he admitted that and got out of his own way in the end.

My favorite DWD so far! Jared and Ashley are my favorite Bach Nation couple of all time!!! Jared is wonderful!! (And Dave too!)

I never got to go to Blockbuster much since that was expensive lol. It felt like such a treat when we were allowed to go. We usually went to "Video 95". The inside of that store was not exciting like Blockbuster or Hollywood Video. Such nostalgia!!

Great interview! I didn’t know Ashley’s family were well to do. But she chose a life with a down to earth guy and live within their means. ❤. Gender disappointment is real. I had an older brother and always wanted my first born to be a boy. I had all girls. 😅.

I completely understand gender disappointment. It’s only a temporary state of mind but it’s common. I had 1 girl and 2 boys and I wanted the 4th child to be a girl. When I found out it was a boy, my husband was happy and I was really sad until he was born. The minute I held him, I completely forgot I even wanted a girl.

Jared, let's not act like it's SHOCKING that Ashley was a BiP villain. She said Clare's eggs were old, she called Shushana "European trash," she squinted her eyes to try to imitate Caila who is part Asian...Ashley displayed many racist qualities. This deserves a villain accusation.

Ok, I do love Jared ... But when he said Ashley was polarizing, but not anymore. I think she can still be polarizing. And even though she wasn’t a “villain” she was a mean girl. Said very nasty things about other women and kinda got away with it which is very unfortunate. I just rewatched their seasons of Bachelor in Paradise very recently so it is fresh in my mind

@@jyn88I think he was hesitant because he knew her family’s financial status . Ashley grow up in one of the wealthiest counties in America ( county with the highest median household income bracket ) Few months after they met he was at her parents place , so he knows how she grew up
