Everyone’s mad at Jared for playing with her feelings all these years. Once She started to date Kevin and he must have realized like “holy crap, I do like her and now I’ve lost her” and I think that’s okay. Maybe the timing was just off. She needed to learn to love herself and not need a guy to be happy. He needed that time to realize that she was the one. And I’m sure seeing her with Kevin hurt him but gave him that clarity. The people commenting about Jared clearly haven't watched the video- it explains why he made the decisions he did in the past. He was in a dark place and scared for a good 12+ months. He messed up as we all have but he made things right, and everything worked out as it should have. Anyway, this is the purest and sweetest relationship I've seen. Elated for them. Plus they're physically gorgeous together, I love their teeth haha

This is true but you do need to put effort into your relationship or anything really that you want to work out but if it’s for you it will happen

So, you've had an off and on again relationship for 2 years. You both had feelings for each other, but he didn't want to confess. She obsessed over him. But she realized he doesn't like her. Jared pushed Ashley away so many times in season 3. Then when she finally found another guy, Jared gets jealous and realizes how strong of his feelings are for her! Perfect romance story! There is a giant puddle of tears on my bed. 😭

When I first saw Ashley on The Bachelor, I'll admit, I thought she seemed shallow and narcissistic. I really misjudged her, but I also think she's grown into herself, into a strong and confident woman in the last 3 years. Initially, I thought it was a charming turnabout that she and Jared are now engaged. After watching this video and hearing their story fleshed out, damn. I'm fully smitten with them both. I love Ashley's face when she's overcome with emotion - what someone referred to as her 'ugly crying face'. I beg to differ, as I see no ugliness. I see her heart in her face, a woman who is not afraid to feel everything, all the raw, naked, bottomless feelings so many of us block out and try to escape. Jared is a lucky man and he knows it. This is the sweetest, most touching love story I've come across in a long time and I find that it gives me hope... that I may yet begin a friendship with my own happily ever after.

Ashley has transformed from a always crying, seemingly spoiled immature girl with not a lot of confidence into a strong, maturing woman able to handle her emotions with far less crying. One thing that never changed though was her feelings about jared cuz she knew her lobster! She grew up and so did he and now look at em! Kinda reminds me of Evan and Carly! Forest for the trees...

Omg they're literally perfect together. One thing that's incredibly obvious is that Jared is an overthinker!! He's super hard on himself (called himself an asshole a few times) and seems to judge himself pretty harshly on his actions or inactions instead of his (always good) intentions. He's clearly a super good guy with good morals but has allowed himself to be ruled by fear. So glad they figured it out and came back to each other :)

WOW! This is the proof that soul mates will end up together no matter what cos it's like these 2 say, 'we are magnets'. LOVE their love story, and having only just seen the first few BIP's, I was gobsmacked to see they got engaged, but I totally get it! 💑

I really believe that those couple of years of friendship were a good thing for both of them and they really needed it. Jared needed time to figure out his feelings and sort out some stuff and Ashley needed to mature and get more Confident. I am so happy they are together now and I am sure it will last forever

She knew it !! He was scared of her. Ash is just a strong independent woman & that can be intimidating . He is lucky she didnt give up on him . It took her being with Kevin for him to have that moment of clarity , and thats ok. Sometimes that has to happen. Im just happy for them both. You can see how much he loves her for not giving up on him. 💝

She still cries about everything but it's so sweet because Jared loves her for her. I'm happy for them both!

I never get sick of watching this. Every time it comes up in my recommendations I’m like “Sure one more time!”

back here again four years later bc this love story is everything! jared sending ashley flowers when they were just friends bc a guy had never gotten her flowers before and he "wanted to be that guy" is so touching and really stuck with me all this time. also that text he sent her and when ashley read it aloud he cried, is so cute. this is the kinda love that everyone hopes for but not everyone finds. it's rare what these two have. so rare that i came back to this video to remind myself of what im looking for and that this kind of true love really does exist. every girl out there would be lucky to find a guy that wants to be that guy for a girl who is just a friend in his life. jared really cared so deeply for ashley even before they ever dated. and ashley really cared for him. i hope to find the love that 'the people at my wedding making speeches are all crying over' like the people in jared and ashley's wedding video did. so many people can attest to the true love they've seen in this couple and are so moved by it they cried. it's one of a kind

I love these two! Ashley and Jared are a real perfect example of twin flames. Their love is pure and comes from being wonderful friends first and building from that. They have their ups and downs and still come out on top. They openly make mistakes and grow from their lessons. Through separation, both Ashley and Jared became more spiritually mature, and in the end, Jared realized precisely what he wanted and put action into words❤️🦌🦅💑🔥🔥🥂 literally brought me to tears as im over here relating to their love story with my twin flame🥺❤️😭🧘💑🦌🦅🔥🔥🙏💏❤️

honestly that is so true. just giving vicariously through other people's love stories because it's too exhausting to go out and meet someone. :p

I had a stupid grin on my face throughout this ENTIRE video. Yay for true love!!!!

didn't think i would sit through this. I did.

Me: "I'm just going to watch 2 min of this." Me (45 minutes later): "MY CHEEKS HURT SO MUCH FROM SMILING OMG YES EVERYTHING."

Ashley is a real sweetheart. She really puts herself out there. I hope that she and Jared end up together and live the dream, but if not, I hope that they make her the Bachelorette someday. She deserves it!

I watched this three times and the fourth time I watched it with my husband. I cried and cried. My husband and are just like you and Jared. We have been married for 42 years. I am the feisty one. Ashley, all those tears that fell on the sand in Paradise were worth it. Jared, you are amazing!

My eyes literally started watering when they were talking about how she thought he didn't want to be around her anymore and she started tearing up. And how his friends and family said that he was happiest with her

I think people are being way too harsh on Jared in the comments. In my opinion, Jared was one of the most upstanding guys on Kaitlyn’s season. He was a gentleman and all around good guy. I think the break up with Kaitlyn and being in all these spin-offs of the series really made him question himself and threw him for a loop. But he realized that he loved Ashley and that he needed to be the man who got back her respect and that’s what he did. Endless support for them both - Both deserve such a beautiful relationship.

Ashley was never crazy, Jared made her look like it by constantly leading her on . This is the type of games I don't like, but life and love is complicated. Jared was very indecisive, it's been very annoying but glad he fixed the mess.

Legit rewatched this after hearing y’all are having a baby. My partner and I had a very similar story (me being Jared 😭) and it’s really funny how things almost have to happen that way in order for the bond to be this strong. It’s a long wait but well worth it, and even though it’s a bit messy, neither him nor I would’ve changed any of it because now we’re magnets welded together.

Honestly the best comment is when he says “Don’t cry, you’ll ruin your makeup.” Because makeup is such a big deal to Ashley!!! It’s the little things. Sooo happy for you both 💜💜💜

I have to say I was expecting this to be a “I liked her and then I didn’t and then I did and then I didn’t and then I thought why not give it a try” kinda of story lol. But this is REAL! The amount of emotion they both have talking about everything they’ve gone through is so real and raw. I have no doubts they will end up together forever.

It’s crazy cause one wears her heart on her sleeve and and one hides it but in reality he saw him through her and wanted something he thought was more but in reality he was lost and she found him and he wanted to keep exploring but after being lost you always find your way back home and that was her

when I look at them, I feel like true love does exist. i knew about them when i watched bachelor of paradise when she was in love with him and look at them now. man, the stars need to allign in order for your love story to take place and meet the right person in the right time
