The baby orangutans at the jungle school are about to be let loose in their new classroom. To combat nerves, some have brought an object to calm them down: security blankets.

    I love how Cinta's first move when dealing with an obstacle is to always throw a stick at it. She did it with the snake in another episode too.

    Ha,ha,ha! She will have to learn - snakes, perhaps, but not fellow 'junglies'. The most endearing part of the snake incident was a soon as she leased the stick she immediately turned and ran, not appearing to give a second thought as to whether it actually hit or scared the 'snake' away. Just hoy something in the general direction and run for cover; too sweet of her. On a more anthropological note , it does display a distinct tendency to a lack of natural aggression within these magnificent primates.

    In another episode she was beating Beni with a large stick because Beni was trying to steal coconuts. You know how gluttonous Beni is when it comes to fruit.

This is a sanctuary for orphans who lost their parents through poaching (killing the adults as pests or even for meat), sickness/disease caused by lack of food due to habitat loss caused by humanity's unchecked development.

    @@letolethe5878 yes. This is in Nyaru Menteng, Kalimantan. They will teach these orphaned orangutans to survive in the wild. When they are ready and older. They will be placed in pre release island. In this island, they will live on their own with occasional check from the organization staffs. When they are fully wild and capable to survive on their own, they will be released to national park/forest. This organization has its own KZread channel. Search BOS Foundation on KZread. They post regularly about this jungle school and the students.

    I knew for a long time during my long standing career as a social worker that I had missed my calling in life..even though I genuinely appreciated helping people..adding an extra expertize e.g. "Ape" Nurse/Teacher💕 to my resume would have certainly filled the void in my life..actually, am wondering if wedding for a second time to the best candidate ..would have satisfied me ??     Watching those babies hug so tight is so sad. They have to stop destroying the rainforest. We need it to. God made each animal for a reason on earth. Just so sad.

    My heart breaks hearing them cry and holding so tightly. There is so many how do they know who is who and who ate what. Seems odd to me
