I’ve just bought some very young GBR’s so a wee bit to go before they’ll be ready to pair off. So this video is just great viewing, thanks 🙏👍😂 I’ve subbed and liked 👍

Love watching this. My 2 GBR just spawned and laid eggs for the 3rd time 2days ago. I got them July 2020. I just have been letting nature take it’s course. I’m Hoping they will learn not to eat the eggs. We will see. Still experimenting with them. So we will see. But the video definitely helps me.

I have 2 males in my 125g community tank and they get along great together. I wanted to add a couple females to get the males to color up more and see their behavior. Would adding just 2 females to the tank be a bad idea? And would the males become aggressive towards the other fish? Im not looking to breed them Though I have a very densely planted set up and some natural caves.

ph around 7, the rest I don't know honestly. I've always said if I cant bred a fish with what I have available id pick another fish. lighting is partly random, turn on in morning and off late at night. (average 12 hours)

Hey I live in pittsburgh and I'd love to keep some rams successfully! I've heard we have some pretty hard water and I just ordered a test strip to test out how hard my water is. What hardness do you keep your rams at and what temp do you recommend? Thanks from a fellow pittsburgher!

I've learned with rams and all fish (from guppies to discus) fish want clean water with consistent water parameters. coming from the same area as me, I only used my tap water and heated to around 80 degrees with great results over time.

How do you prevent breeding. I dont want another repeat of a small 60 litre fish tank with 100+ scrawny pale arsed fish in it. Dont want another fishpocalypse wher i leave them to die in a bucket in the garden cos its totally outta control. And to think when they first had fry I was excited and protected them haha
