That's precious and I just put my little fawn into AARK Maybe should have tried to keep her. The most beautiful eyes I have ever seen. The fur was Soft and she seemed to like me petting her because missing Mama .
I love the bounce. Her legs don’t even move and she blasts off like a rocket ship. So cute.

No it’s not. You’re not supposed to do this. When dotty is older and guys are out hunting during hunting season, dotty won’t know to run from strangers. she will walk right up to them expecting food and get shot at point blank range. That’s why cities give out tickets to people they catch doing this.

@@MeghanMarzio fair enough, but I think most wild life are still cautious, they approach strangers with caution. Try feeding a duck, it may come get food from you but try to reach out and touch one and off it goes

Which chance that can happen to have contact to a wild animal like fox or deers?I barely past dogs and cats,except meet and touch sea animals like a stingray and a turtle,first one mentioned which I met inside a sea animal protection project,the owners remove the sting so people can get curiosity of their skin and cuddle it,and they flap their wings to greet you throwing a bit of water,believe me:If you cuddle it,if plushes today had that tissue that stingrays have,you wanna stay hugged on it forever,so smooth and cute!!!!!!!

Iunno, Meghan. In this hypothetical situation where Dotty gets shot either way, I think I would rather my final moments be peaceful.
Seeing her come towards the kind man with happy prances just filled my heart with love and happiness. Dottie is absolutely precious 💕. What a beautiful girl she is. This is absolutely precious and I love it!! Ty so much for sharing this!!

I raised a baby fawn from 2 days old. She eventually went out to live among the other deer that live in the adjacent woods on our farm but still comes every day for her apple & oatmeal cookies! She just turned 9 and has had 7 offspring. Pretty cool experience for sure to raising my Pumpkin girl!!

To all those ones interested in rising a baby deer: They can't digest cow's milk. Instead of that they need sheep or goat milk. This is extremely important to know! And they should be kept in a secure enclosure while being so little to keep them save from predators.

Galassien she is most likely not an orphan, she just has good memories of this person somehow. She is too young to outrun predators and a mother keeps their scent away by licking them clean like a cat. If she had no mother she would be dead as their only defense is to be as noticed as little as possible. It could be possible this person is actually raising the deer but fawns are so innocent they don’t know danger if you associate them young to good humans.
What a sweet little new friend you've found and what a rewarding way to connect with nature. Beautiful...

If anyone doesn’t know, he adopted the deer and takes care of it ever since they were small which is why she’s comfortable around him but he lets her run around and play in his backyard so she can still be in the wild

My friend raised a baby deer after she was orphaned when her mother died, he named her puppy because she acted like a dog. She still comes around, but not as much as she now is a mother herself.
