Recorded on November 15 1928 at Edison's New York Studio for Diamond Disc.1928. Released on Diamond Disc no.52444R . Released on Blue Amberol in January 1929.
Re released in 2012 by the Berlin Phonograph Works as "NB-5642" www.berlinphonographworks.com. You can purchase this cylinder, as well as several other virtually impossible to find titles there as I did.

    I have this on a 7 inch LP record narrated by Ted Lewis I didn't realize my copy was edited so nice to hear the full version of it.

    I have that record also. It was given to me by a gent that worked for the Edison Voicewriter office in downtown Philadelphia. I still have it and also noticed that this piece was edited to probably economize time on the LP.

    I have messaged This AWESOME Fella who Make`s these Record`s! I Believe He is going to start Making Diamond Disc Record`s! BLUE ONES AT THAT! They Look and Sound AWESOME! I Pray He finds a large amount of unissued Needle Type Masters as well! I LOVE Anyone who is Recreating and Re,issuing this WONDERFUL Music!

    THIS IS TRULY AWESOME! Is this one of the Remake Edison Cylinders? I heard that their Making New ones using Old recordings! If so Where Can You Get them? I LOVE THIS!

    You have some govenor/drive issues on a truly wonderful phonograph. The recording would sound better if you would record with lid down. Show off that beautiful mechanism before playing.

    No, the reproducer is stationary and the weight on the bottom and stylus only move up and down in the groove. The mandrel and the record mounted on it are moved horizontally at an even rate by a series of gears ending with threaded half nut moving across a threaded shaft.
