A 481 from SBB International ? Awesome idea ❤
Grandissimo soprano Carmen Melis e fantastica insegnante.
😚😚😚😚
Yay go Josie. I got interested because we share a surname but... what a legacy
Great , thanks, I think that the band should be acknowledged .
Madcap rendition.
Ada and Billy.
Keep the lovelight burning.
A great piece of.music.Encore.maestro.
I think I'm gonna fly to Europe just to see these trai..., say, eat at that restaurant!
merci
Hey there goes my root beer?
This is as good as a cylinder could possibly sound.
Remarkable. Thank you for keeping this alive.
I have this record
Thanks for posting this I picked up a diamond disc from the thrift store with this song on it but I didn't have a phonograph to play it on.
Actually the Charleston on a cylinder player appears strange. The cylinder machine is a ragtime era or pre jazz device.
True, but the Edison Phonograph Company made cylinder phonographs and cylinders including some dance and early Jazz through October 1929. Admittedly the format was pretty much obsolete by then.
0:35 song
Nice collection.
This is…so unbelievably AWESOME!!! I would have lost my little mind if I saw this as a kid.
this is a replica the original was one of the last blue Amberols and a very good transfer of its electrically recorded diamond disc 1929 an original cylinder issue sold on eBay 20 years ago for $10,000- yup it's a rare one! I had a copy before this infamous eBay sale I still have it! a modern sale in 2023 would have a price between 12,000 and 15,00 dollars in theory so not a bad investment!
Почти совершенный аппарат для того времени)
Alguien me podria decir si el tamaño de los trenes es del la medida G? Gracias
Also on D.D 51800, released in Sept. 1926
Wonderful
Thanks for your work and specially about your kids. Wonderful
So thanks. This music my lovely father played too much
Wonderful band! A joy to hear it.
You can hear when the dubbing from the Diamond Disc starts.. Amazing.
C'est formidable!!!! ¡!!!
They didn't call John Philip Sousa the "March King" for nothing! . . .
I have this song on the disc. I think I only paid like $5 for it at an antique shop. On the flip side of the song a speaker, I think, gives an introduction of the singers. Your recording is in better condition than mine I believe.
Triumphs are my favourites
Sounds fantastic 👌
1901 hahaha
Yes, this is very nice. And this video gives you an idea of how loud those machines were, assuming the microphone is attached to the camera. People today have no idea how well that stuff worked when it was new. But the machine was obviously restored. The record is a little noisy compared to when new, but still very good.
Thank you Glenn. Yes the microphone is attached to the camera, about 12 -15 away from the camera. It's plenty loud for an average sized room for sure. The surface noise would also be reduced a good bit if I were to have closed the lid but then the viewer simply looks at a stationary box.
Wonderful!
Petting cute kittens while listening to this quaint mewsic, life is good!
Amazing ! Thanks for sharing
Excellent !
Breathtaking cylinder recording demo, thanks for sharing !
Interesting recording for a number of reasons. You can hear someone speaking at the end of the recording in the studio.
Great video and a wonderful Edison Triumph and Horn .Troupee. 👍🎷🎷👍
