@? it's just a new game, the new season will be completely unrecognizable from before. I am not excited about the identity of 150+ champions being changed and having to relearn all of them. you can barely tell the difference between s8-s10, but s11 is just ridiculous power creep. think about it, many players were complaining about power creep, like me. I want to return to old pace of the game, like way back in 2013 golden age of the game. Instead riot is making everything even stronger, by a ridiculous amount this time. it just feels like a bad dream to me, unfortunately

@@ravenoushydra7948 Champions abilities, scaling, class, roles won't change, minions and gold generation won't change, the map, jungle camps and objectives won't change, even the statistics will be mostly the same. The only thing that is changing is items. Yes, it's a pretty big part of the game, yes, you'll need to figure out your builds, yes it will be chaotic at first, yes there'll be OP stuff... Like every pre-season. The game won't change so much that you won't recognize it anymore. Thinks about all those massive jungle changes from season to season that 'caused every jungle to relearn new paths, the elemental dragon introduction, the runes/masteries changes,... If you want to wait until things are getting sorted and you just have to look up your builds for yours champs, wait one or two month for things to settle down. It's okay :)

Concepts that made me a better jungler: - Tracking enemy jungler - Learning matchups and adapting my clear to them - Contesting pixel brush before game starts and getting info where enemy jungler started - Deciding when do I counterjungle/gank/powerfarm/focus objectives - Playing around winning lanes (screw that feeding botlane) - Give up first 2 drakes if your bot is dog and you need to get stronger

For the first question in the quiz at the end, isntead of having normal cast on you can just click on an ability at the bottom to aim it manually, since you'll have time if it's against minions. You can hold right click to move around, and the left click the ability to aim it and move around at the same time, though holding down rightclick to move around reacts slower than clicking.

when I first got into LoL after years of playing DotA allstars, HoN, and DotA 2.. I played a few months of Ashe. Just Ashe, learning how to last hit. Jumping between HoN and DotA was no sweat, but LoL is totally different when it comes to its CS. This was back when the game still looked kind of bad. The old map. I found it really awkward trying to learn to last hit, as it seemed super clunky to attack move. I believe at the time, you just had to sit through the entire animation, as I would get phantom missiles. I'd literally watch my missiles hit the creeps and they would do no damage to them...all the time. TI think this was because I was so used to attack moving in other mobas, where I would instantly start moving as I released the missile. I remember telling Riot about it in a survey, as well as griping about missing hotkeys I've always used for attack-moving and CS. Like H for hold position is a huge one for me and not having any way to set it in the menus was a huge issue. Not just A...which honestly, I don't really even need in this game, as I mostly only really used A for last hitting allied creeps. I'm normally very clean with my right clicks. Anyways, it was a huge relief when I came back, all of my major complaints with the game seemed to be totally fixed. Not to mention, it looked a lot better with the completely revamped map. If you read all this, have a nice day.

4:10 I'm pretty sure that you accounted for human error twice, subtracting the gold from two minions instead of one. Because the value of 105g per normal wave used to start the calculations for the amount of gold in cannon waves already included human error. After adding the amount of gold from the cannon and passive income, the amount of gold lost from a melee minion is subtracted again, leaving the end solution to be -21g from the actual amount of gold you get from a cannon wave if human error only took away one melee minion per wave.

We can see in the last situation that Darius didn't back so, if orianna let the enemy wave slowly push to her, darius can realize that orianna backed and hard push the wave and force orianna to use her tp to catch her big wave, so imo that orianna did the right thing to hard push the wave because she wasn't sure that darius backed or not or freeze the wave, or it was actually the right thing to let the enemy wave slowly push to her and If she saw darius trying to shove the wave she use her tp and freeze it and this is the best imo but you have to use your tp but you will get insane advantage, and he will need his jungle to break this freeze Edit: he will do a bad recall and lose many waves if orianna could maintain the freeze

This is still valuable information. If you can determine at a single glance when laners will want to recall, you can path according to this. You can either hold the wave of an ally who got bullied out of lane, sneak a herald when the enemy takes a bad recall, or simply sync your own recall with that of your botlane to prepare a dragon. And there are many more possibilities still.

In my opinion you should always run ignite on ahri in gold and under at least. I think the reason they are suggesting he runs tp, is maybe he has a passive playstyle in lane and ignite doesnt suit him well, and also because they wanna teach him wave control. If your playstyle doesnt work well with ignite, by all means, run tp. But for most people, ahri can easily get solokills in lane especially after GLP. Ignite gives you enough damage to kill most midlane champions at say lvl 8 using GLP if you hit most/all abilities. If you run tp however, this will be a lot harder, and you would have to land a bit of damage first, which can be very hard into control mages, who are especially vulnerable to your GLP all-in. TL;DR Run ignite on ahri if you are gold or under.

Disagree. As an ahri main (600k) I only run ignite if I have a glacial build. However if I have electrocute, which I almost always take, I run tp because my dmg with electrocute almost always bullies my laner out of CS (and I always earn kills through mistakes and if I get the mid laner low enough) and I would be able to TP in lane for items (or to other lanes to help)

I'm not personally a good jungler because I don't know a lot about this, but knowing your optimal clears is the first thing you need to focus on. Once you have that down you need to learn match ups of the lanes in your game. A good example that I hear a lot is "always camp the Riven" because Riven is an early game champion who can snowball very easily. If the enemy has a Riven you should be prepared to countergank or try to create an advantage elsewhere. This is what really takes a long time to understand because there are so many champions but here are some general rules: 1) Camp early game snowballers in the early game/give them an early kill to help them snowball. This refers to if they're facing a more late game scaler. 2) Make sure you gank volatile matchups. This can be something like Camile vs Fiora in toplane or something like Fizz vs Katarina in the midlane. It's basically match ups where a gank can decide who wins. 3) If someone is complaining about being camped, camp them even more. This is to tilt them out of the game and might be a little rude, but hey it's LP. 4) If you have a lane with two late game scalers like Cassiopeia vs Viktor giving an early gank can there can also create a snowball. Not in a traditional way, but you basically insure that your late game scaler is scaling faster. Like if Viktor gets his Hexcore earlier he gets his big powerspike faster. Again I wanna stress that I'm not amazing at this. I've never mained Jungle and I haven't really studied it in depth. I'm also only a Silver player who peaked in Gold last season, but I'm giving advice based on other videos I've watched.

Son, just learn JNGLE tracking, and make sure you know where enemy jngler is at all points of the game This allows you to: 1) counter jungle 2) warn teammates from enemy ganks 3) secure objectives better 4) solo kill enemy jngler (if you're playing early game champ) 5) type jng diff at end of the game Believe me, just learning this one skill will make you climb exponentially Unless you've a fucked MMR with 10 LP gains

I can give you a very easy and straight forward tip to climb as a jgl. While on the Loadingscreen you can actually already win the game - check every teammate and enemy. Look who is playing offrole / is losestreaking / is prob. tilted / is smurfing and so on. If you find a smurf in your team - make him fed = autowin If you find a smurf in enemys team - cover your laner and warn him = he cant snowball and 1v9 easily If you find a tilted / losestreaking guy in enemys team = gank him pre min 5 and capitalize on it , he either will play way worse then he would be otherwise or sometimes even RQ. If you are a fast reader - you can even do it for your team in Champselection and if you find some usefull data (for instance a Twitch OTP with insane stats) feel free to pick what he needs to carry (even its a morgana jgl, a ivern or just a nonmeta tank with cc) I woul say my Mechanics (since im getting older - 30 now - and playing for a long time) are below average of my elo, but so i rather stick to champions with a clear wincondition. Usually i end up my seasons in low to mid diamond without any real troubles. I hope this tips help you out climbing. Cheers - Yaka

What should I do if the wave is slow pushing to me, I have low health, enemy has at least 70-80% health, and I don't have tp? Should I stay in lane with the possiblilty of getting dived? If I recall, then the enemy will definitely shove the wave and i might lose an entire wave, or just soak the exp. I usually just end up staying in lane but it doesn't seem optimal since I might be waiting for a powerspike item, but I also dont want to be a full wave of exp behind or die

  • @spooky2526

I know this probably doesn't help but you should just try to avoid this before it happens, otherwise your only hope is your jungler, even if you don't kill the enemy if you can get them low enough that they can't zone you from Cs you won't be that far behind. But again if you're in that position there's not much to do, since that's pretty much the optimal scenario for the enemy.

I'd say unless you have a team member coming to back you up to help lessen the pressure of the enemy champ, better to last hit what you can safely and then run back to base. It is better for you to not die than give the enemy champ that extra death gold on top of the wave. You lose out on it anyway if you die. You can catch up in cs with future waves and/or jg camps, if able.

04:56 Question: if we try to shove the lane as suggested, does that give us enough time to recall and come back without losing farm? And does this also apply for botlane? I'd imagine the scenario a bit different since there's two opp players ready to shove the lane back.

  • @Sacpleuweuw

    @Sacpleuweuw

Shoving a cannon wave into enemy turret almost always creates a slow push towards you about a minute later. That means you lose just one or two minions at most, and if your opponent doesn't recall, you'll have an item advantage to fight them. If they try to recall, then you can threaten to freeze and deny them CS, forcing them to stay or burn teleport. It works for every lane, just keep in mind that you have to shove your wave all the way to the enemy turret, or a smart support will hold your minion wave and create a freeze against you.

  • @loganlamoreaux5347

In bot lane your opponents will do more damage especially with support items that can kill a half health cannon, but as long as you back on a cannon wave after pushing you should have enough time to get back to lane without losing much. The outcome may not be a perfect recall but it is much better than backing while the wave is in a bad state(pushing away from you). In the early game on the first or second cannon wave, the enemy should not have enough damage to clear your cannon wave quickly if they have the poke support item.

My biggest issue with csing as a midlaner is that my teammates will come into my lane and steal cs. (I’m primarily a support main but I can mid fairly well.) When my lane is taken, I roam into the side lanes as I am meant to. However, supports that arent myself rarely ward and I’m a cautious player so if I am squishy I won’t push up too much even for cs. (Unless I’m someone who can effectively duel like Akali) I have fairly high vision score for a midlaner, but not having my trinkets does feel like a nerf and sometimes I get too uncomfortable pushing up for cs. Even if I feel like I am aware of where the enemies are I guess it’s just hard for me out of fear of “feeding.” What do you do in a situation like this besides ward? And if you don’t see the enemies on the map do you leave a wave to die?
