    A long time ago, I posted a comment on a Skillcapped video: "How to gank like G2 Jankos" or something like that, and it basically told a short story about how Skillcapped helped me climb. I hadn't been able to get out of silver for almost 4 years, and just by using these youtube videos, not the actual hyper improvement program, I climbed from silver to diamond in less than 3 months. So, yeah, it is completely possible, and it is realistic as well. Skillcapped is awesome

    I have never seen something as in depth as this before on last hitting. I do play a lot of Ahri in mid, but my Gold scrub ass has never even thought about it being important to oneshot the casters. I just found it convenient when I was fed enough to be able to do it. My sticking point in lane is definitely something similar. I can't focus on all my jobs as a mid laner at the same time. I can kill my opponent in a 1v1 because I know how to trade, but then I will lose farm. Or I can last hit almost perfectly, but then have no pressure whatsoever in the lane. Same with roaming, I can roam, invade, gank, help secure objectives, etc. but even if I do push out my waves before moving, my CS tends to suffer a lot in the end because I get back to lane too late.

  • @themanidentifiedasdinosaur8138

    @themanidentifiedasdinosaur8138

    3 жыл бұрын

    as long as you get and objective, kill, tower, etc when you roam, it's okay to miss cs. The guide, I think, is specifically for laning. If you're doing nothing but just cs and try to trade but you don't do anything after trading and just recall, then it's better to just cs. If your goal is to trade, have health advantage, then from there, either zone your opponent from freeze, or have opponent recall so you can roam to an objective or scuttle fight, then losing cs, is okay. Summary: It's okay to lose a few cs if that means you can get objectives or lane priority for fights. Even if you're most fed, but all 4 opponent is fed, you're more likely to lose. The guide, is most likely, just for laning and not doing anything but cs.

    3 жыл бұрын

    Capataina I know now it should never been as hard but my winrate hasn't dropped since it first picked up. For every 8 game winstreak I lose one or two then get right back on another. Im not saying that bc I went from bronze to gold I did something impressive I think the way it has been going is impressive and the fact that I made that jump without any time of being stuck in anyway and how that applies at any Elo along the way shows the ceiling is probably what I make it. The lessons are broad and anyone can apply them and I know how to get out of silver in a day after I learned how. I'm learning how to do that in gold. And I play in a way that as a gold who was bronze a month ago when I a put against a diamond bot lane when my support is bronze I am not only able to survive, but thrive even when we are hard countered by the comp. That shows what I learned and what I have been applying works across the board and no paying service is going to be the only one capable of teaching you. You have to have the mindset of there is always an answer and you are smart enough to find it and learn from every bad play or game. Gold is shit and idk how people that are stuck there even got there in the first place bc in my games I had better players in silver. But I learned that golds are mechanically good but thickskulled so once I learned how to appease them and get them to listen to me I went right back to climbing bc I got my teammates to listen to me and make the right plays. A coach can help reinforce the positives and call out the negatives of what you don't see but it really only helps you notice those things quicker than if you were to really try.

    Well since u guys enjoy hearing climbing stories I was silver 3 with absolutely no main lane no main champion and 0 knowledge about macro micro roaming baron and basically league overall even tho i play since season 3. I got into skillcapped and just kept on practicing cs and macro with Kassadin and Vladimir as my main champions and Annie as a pocket pick. I climbed to plat 4 in 3 weeks from silver 3 and then i took a break just to watch videos and practice in drafts and climbed all the way to plat 1 in like 2-3 days with an almost 60% win rate overall (up to gold 1 I had 80% winrate) Mostly everything I learned I learned here and not only about mid lane but EVERY role since like this i can understand more easily what others want to do and I think this is also a good video idea, why knowing more about every lane is important in order to carry. Tysm for the free content and I will comment again once I hit master next season, all the luck on rift and pls ban yasuo to make sure your autofill top laner won't pick it against Renekton. Edit: What I surely learned is that keeping your champion pool small is just the best option since I am now rank 485 Kassadin and 895 Vladimir, one tricking more than surely helps quite a lot.

So, what this does is when your press and hold your skills, it will provide a range like in normal cast but if you release your fingers, it will cast. With normal cast, you need to click twice for it to cast.

The courses are no more than basic vids you probably find on KZread and don't add much depth to what you're trying to learn. And then I find this channel, and it made happy and sad. Happy that there's finally reliable educational league content, yet sad I didn't find it sooner.

    It's absolutely possible for any player with an improvement mindset and the will to study to climb that high. Diamond doesn't require anything other than good fundamentals and deep knowledge of one or two champs to reach. Thing is, most players don't play League for the fundamentals. They want to reach certain outcomes (become fed, or have a close teamfight based match) without knowing what leads to these outcomes and how to reproduce them in their matches. It can be boring just aiming for 8+cs/min every game, ward coverage, lane manipulation, proper rotating, splitpushing and objective preparation, but those are the things that lead to you getting fed, impacting the game, winning teamfights and skirmishes and climbing. Skillcapped has great videos that I watch whenever they are out, but if the player is not willing to work on the boring stuff, you can have the greatest quality guides ever and it won't matter a bit. The good thing is, the people that seek for this kind of content and even are willing to pay for it are probably people that already want to work on their fundamentals, so that helps.

    The fact that he was a good player in other game and the fact that he was already asking questions (no matter how silly) are already signs of a players who would improve pretty fast if he was actively playing the game. Take someone who is in bronze for 5 years. Someone who already "learned" bad habits, most of players who are stuck are exactly this kind, not someone who already showed they can be competitive in other games and just haven't put the time in league.

    Im a Vel koz one trick, Gold for now, havent got any hard time going to G, im just playing rarely ranked but i feel like i can go Plat to diamond pretty well. I know my csing perfectly, I usually am 1st cs unless the top is an illaoi or something. I put 2 points into W for clearing the wave since i priorities wave managment over kill pressure with Q, and always gave me insane opportunities to invade the jungler or bot. I love the fact that people care about minion managment cause i always did, and now that i know by heart, all i do is focus on landing combos and macro.

    To answer the question you asked at the end of the video, one of the things I'm really weak at is knowing when I'm stronger than my opponent. Sometimes it's obvious, like if I had a recall advantage. But as it gets towards mid game, I often find out whether I'm stronger or weaker than my opponent after they go for an all-in. Sometimes I die, sometimes I surprise myself and get the kill. I think this is amplified by another weakness of mine, which is being too cautious in lane. I don't want to die and give away gold and miss xp, so my goal is usually stay even in farm and hope I can out macro my opponent once they start roaming, when I know they will miss CS because of their wave control in mid game. However, that can clearly be terrible against late game carries like Camille, Vladimir, Nasus etc, who are usually my toughest matchups :(

    would like to see some more videos about laning mechanics... things like where and how often to click, where to stand in the lane (pockets), how to space properly, etc... I know skillcapped’s whole schtick is that you don’t need mechanics to climb, but all of their coaches have high level mechanics as well as game knowledge and it’s difficult to win on game knowledge alone, especially on the server I play on where there is no macro at all

  • @gasparzuker
    @gasparzuker3 жыл бұрын

    Another good way to know if you kill the caster minion is just left-clicking them to see how much hp does they have at that momento of the game and then see hoy many damage does your skill does puting the mouse over the skill icon. Caster minions don't hace armor or MR so the famsge must be equal or greather than the hp to kill the minions There are some cases when this is not so simple, like Qiyana's Q, that activstes her passive or when you have Luden's echoes

    My weakest point in laning phase currently is skirmishing and aggression. I do a pretty good job of vision, leaning around it, and jungle tracking, but even at times when I know I should be playing aggressive I have a hard time doing so consistently without giving up my priority in lane due to a bad trade or duel. For context my mid champion pool consists of Ahri, Diana, Nocturne, Zoe, and Camille, though for ranked I mostly avoid Zoe and Camille at the moment.

  • @ZoroarkLover98
    @ZoroarkLover983 жыл бұрын

    My weakest point during the laning phase is last hitting. Because I see now that, as an Ahri, I've been using the wrong runes. Also I tend to immediately freeze waves because most picks scare me, like Zed, Yasuo or Diana, so I freeze near the tower so I don't die to ganks or get solo killed. That works though, and allows me to comeback in mid to late game because I can play better at those instances, but still, if my jungler doesn't come to gank I don't have kill pressure on my own most of the time.

    To everyone getting mad for some reason because they think the comments made on how he plays the game are too harsh, may I help you realize that people actually start really PLAYING League after they hit Diamond. If Nama's CS is "horrendously bad" or he's bad at the game in general, is because he is, and that's exactly the reason he asked for the service. If I would want to be coached by someone, the first thing I want is him/her to be honest, brutally honest if it's the case. But the fact is, if the guy commentating says that a player in low elo is bad, is because it is just like that, otherwise they wouldn't be so low, as simple as that. I play at a Silver/Gold elo myself, and I can honestly tell that games down here are just a coin flip. Even if I'm fairly fed and with a lead, I don't have mindset nor concepts to get advantage from, and that is for everyone, and every game is just "farming", fighting a bit and who landed his abilities better is gonna win fights. People below Diamond don't even come close at playing League in the way it is intended, high elo players do, and all the comparisons are made in that context alone. Stop being snowflakes, no one is bullying anyone, for fudge's sake.

On paper, it is SO easy to understand that "go up and A-A the enemies when they are a-aing minions, that way they can't trade back" but actually doing it is a whole nother story. This can definitely be applied to every lane though, and damn do I suck at it.

This changes to 88ap after the wave that spawns at 8:35. 1 q and 3 autos on the melees. Now here comes the real juice, and even pro players do this wrong all the time : To achieve this, you will most of the time need 3x amp tome in your build, so instead of going dark seal revolver pinkward or something, prefer dark seal triple amp tome all the time. This amp tome builds into a codex( builds into nashors tooth), or if you still live in a world where Ekko builds Lichbane as a second item, an aether wisp. Look to do buy a codex every game if you can't afford to buy protobelt straight of the bat.
