This video made me feel a lot better about myself. I’m hard stuck in iron, but I never dodge games and I play more than 2 champs. If I was a one trick who dodged I would definitely be challenger, maybe even rank 1 if I really tried.

About your Corrupting Potion point, where Dopa doesn't sell, you need to remember he takes Time Warp Tonic. That extra 5% MS can be huge in teamfights or when roaming around, to the point that it's good to have 20 AP less, for example.

I think he does it for mana, he pops it constantly even at full hp when he's running low. If his jungler was constantly giving him blue he prob would have sold it.

also its not like you are losing the money, you are just saving it so you can back earlier and buy another item such as blasting wand or needlessly large rod quicker.

i agree soooooo much about what u said on being positive and stuff cus i used to be and im still sometimes really toxic and i see how my team just starts to play like complete shit, words have a big big impact on people and it makes their gameplay so much worse thats why i play with full mute now and i try not to ping too much even tho sometimes its hard. You're the first person i've heard talk abt it and honestly it really makes a big difference in the games its really underrated how much impact it has on everyone. Dont type or atleast dont type anything bad and dont ping too much and ur W/R will for sure improve

Imagine if Dopa didnt play League and maybe got into astronomy we probably would have found aliens already

I think when it comes to Nemesis you should do either a Yone game or a Tristana game, these two seem to be his signature picks. Obviously he can play everything, including Tryndamere which could also be an interesting review.

What is important to point out about Dopa's climbing advice: this only works for you if you want to inflate your rank, aka be a higher rank than your skill level indicates (in lower elos of course). The best, most sustainable way to climb is to play to improve imo.

It isnt rank inflation its just onetricking and dodging if you dont like your lane or their team comp or if youre filled or your jungle is boosted. It isnt cheating its just a part of the climbing strategy if you reach diamond this way you ARE a diamond player its just without doing this it would take more time and luck. It doesnt inflate your rank its just that not onetricking and dodging will deflate your rank

I really enjoy playing Malz vs Sylas. Oblivion orb was such a lovely addition to the shop, healing cut for days vs him, trynd, vlad etc. Vs Sylas I also love blocking his chains with my pets and then he is out of position and CC'd to death with the Rylai slow.

I totally agree with your view on positive mentality and the role of streamers concerning this topic. Too much streamers promote negative behavior and influence the LoL community in such a bad way. How much low elo players I play with that have 0 selfcontrol and winner mentality. Really concerning. Like do people really expect to be the best in every game, every situation and every moment? Knowing that it is also a teamgame!

Big thing about comebacks is the fact that enemies that are ahead get way too cocky and throw the lead more often than not.

The thing i do for climbing is not flaming so powerfull and abusing the wave cauz minions are source of gold so get most gold out it and when your laner isnt on lane push it out and recall.And 1 thing i do is encourage my team8 when they make good play gj wp and when they make bad i dont type or type dw just dont lose your focus it helped me so so much.

I've been trying to explain that "lp loss but no mmr loss per dodge" thing to people for years, and they ALWAYS refused to believe me; they would say you should not dodge because you lose lp. They never understood that you start getting things like +25/-15 lp on wins/losses if your mmr is higher. In fact, people don't understand mmr at all in many cases. Thank you so much for telling people that. People like me can't say it because I'm a nobody and have no credibility to my name, so people will just fight me when I say it, but you can explain it to people because you have credibility.

Orianna deserves some type of visual rework. I think her lore is very interesting and a champion like her is very unique.

Great to hear about dodging allows people to artificially gain ranks - I never dodge and hard stuck bronze, though my gameplay/stats are silver/gold... hearing the video, it now confirms my theory that others just "boost" themselves by dodging. How to counter dodging is easy - make it worth 50% of a loss

I was plat in s3/4/5 and then quit the game. I come back end of last season and this game is so hard to carry. 60 games in and Silver I. I dont feel that rusty mechanically or with macro, just team mates dont care about death trading, dont set up vision for objectives 60s before hand, no TP from top laners to skirmishes or team fights. I use to be able to get ahead as jungler and just crush the game. Now with these shut down kills it seems very YO-YO like, back and fourth. I've started using Poro so I'm not matched with bad win rate team mates or people not playing their main champs. This game feels oddly much harder.

You can also use this new Blitz App. It basically tells you “Jungler: dies early” or bot: “susceptible to ganks” boom dodge. Supp: “rarely wards” LOL

why the fuck did I nod when Drew asked ”Do you understand?”

I played on two account this season. On the first one, I got to plat with 70%+ win rate, then started getting matched with the worst scum possible in litteraly every game and my winrate dropped dramatically to like 56% or something. Now I'm losing 17lp and winning 8-9 per game. On my other account, happened the same, but when I started noticing this pattern, I also started checking my team on op.gg and dodging shitty teammates. Climb has been slower because high plat-low diamond players are better in general but at least I'm avoiding this absurd matchmaking and mmr is still pretty good. Maybe if they want player to stop abusing the dodge system, they should start by fixing their broken matchmaking system. I can accept having one person off role or one guy on a 4-5 lose streak, but when you get 4 players with a 30% win rate on your team, that's when it starts to get frustrating

If I get autofilled jungle I just lock in soraka or yumi. "Soraka jgl"??? Someone will always dodge, even if it goes to 1 or 2 seconds , quite thrilling tbh like a gamble

Soloq should become way more strict so that flex would be the in between of normals and soloq where you can try champs, play with friends or just play a ranked game without that much of tryhard and what i mean about soloq become more strict is that they should disable dodge or at least give a pretty high penalty not even worth to dodge it but also make the lobby rules strict as well. I mean being able to report someone when he picks something that he clearly wants to play which handicaps the team. Like picking zed when your team has 0 ap and the enemy is full of tanks or playing a game where your team doesnt pick any tank. I think it makes sense . Soloq will become a better place to climb.

Seems like making dodging not possible in higher elo is a good solution. It will also make the top of the ladder less populated by one tricks.

Definitely large parts of this that really go to show that you shouldn't listen to what someone says just because they are good at the game. Just because Dopa is very skilled, does not mean you should blindly follow what he says. I personally don't place much faith at all in what he says, though I think he is an incredible player.

Two seasons ago I dodged a lot of bad looking games and climbed to plat for the first time, but nowadays I realized that it’s dumb to do that. If you start climbing with stupid tricks, you won’t be able to play in your new ELO without those tricks. I’d rather be gold but comfortable with playing whatever champ I want even with bad teams, than plat, but playing only 2 champs and having to dodge and wait ever other lobby

If you have 60% it doesnt matter the elo. You will climb eventually. + you can dodge bad match ups.

its easy to get out of silver main twistednfate learn the champ it can get you out of silver in 2 days and get you plat iv instantly

For me it's mostly botlane that ints, so I look usually look to duo with a support

I think that dodging method might work in higher elos, if you dodge everytime you got bad wr team8s or autofills you are for sure dropping in elo hell

Totally incorrect. If you play more games with bad teams and autofills you lose more games and your mmr gets fucked. If you dodge a few times a day you lose less than a single loss in lp and lose no mmr. But hey, that's why you're silver.

He didnt dodge master promos cause of bad teams. Its a climbing strat, LS explained it. You get to master promos, dodge them, drop back to d1, play until master promos, dodge again, etc. You repeat this until your mmr is sky enough to catapult you into chall.

boys if u see this.. just try dodging.. take ur mind off the LP and focus on getting wins.. no LP.. wins = mmr.. i started using this.. was so happy was p1 playing with d1 players.. (i hit d4 then kinda started flipping lobbies cuz wanted to play more.. got kinda addicted to decent gameplay)

After watching dopa and faker for so long, I give up adc and jungle secondary role and just focus on mid. I’ll be honest, I’m more comfortable at mid, like it comes natural, adc and jungle i feel, “forced.” If they make sense. Mid I know I what to do, csing, map awareness, and how to kill.
