i assume their new owners only reprogrammed them to serve them instead of the CIS, they probably kept everything else like fighting code n stuff

Just as savage as the time Agent 47 pulled a guy out of a window that just got a phone call from his doctor saying that he doesn't have Prostate Cancer and that he felt on top of the world in that moment.

The B1 droids in this game have so much personality. I like 'em. They are funny.

Im curious what would happen if Cal attacked the droid earlier, would he say something else?

Especially cruel they've programmed a disposable battle droid with ambition and wonder. Truly the most tragic character(s)

They did not program them to have ambition and wonder. It is due to their “personality quirks," which were the result of programming glitches in the B1 battle droids. It is literally due to the having poor programming and cheap hardware that have them personalities such as wonder and ambition.
