The B-52s, LIVE at the mighty - Us Festival, back in 1982.
In 1982, the 1st version of The Us Festival happened, attracting a then-ridiculous-sounding 400,000 people in attendance across a 3-day weekend.
One of the acts on the first day, New Wave Day, was The MIGHTY B-52s. !
Thanks to the miraculous infusion of cash and technology from Steve Wozniak, who organized the festival we have The B-52s LIVE at The Us Festival.

We have been Fans since the early 80's - Now they have finished Touring - The Whole World needs to know " How Good They Were .... and are Still Are - The Hall of Fame awaits the B52's
such an underrated band, they really created their own sound, a mix of sixties guitar beach music with new wave influences, wish I could have gone to that concert, it must have been amazing to see them at the time they were about to hit

kathyfrancis9229 - well said - A Truley Unique Band that lead the way - Ricky Wilson was shear Tallent on that Guitar ! and with Kate Pierson on keyboards - hell she was on another level too ! - paying the unique B-52"s Synth BASS, the Bass Line kept pounding out no matter waht - all keeping up with Keith smashing those Drums - hell it couldn't get much better than that - BUT IT SURE DID ............. Fred, Kate Cindy, Keith & Rickey - I am sure we all can't thank you enough - FULL HOUSE / 5 STARS / HALL OF FAME ! .

Just because you have horns, doesn't mean you have to use them. They feel too organized. This song (for me) has always been about dissonance and a chaos. The horns kind of take me out of that.
