@Josny13 Limit break them only when they're about to hit their level cap if you really care about oil. Ayanami isn't the best unless you plan to use her for bosses and manually torp. Oil won't be an issue unless you plan to play this game like an MMORPG and grind for hours straight everyday. I'm at 109 commander level and am basically always at max oil except when I have to grind for events. I always run the 1200 oil commission twice a day too, but I mostly get on to only do dailies.

Quick note, the yellow Kanji symbol for Laffey isn’t in the legend, and it reads “Cute”

The issue with AA DDs is, cruisers are a lot better at AA. So you either take Ayanami for torp burst or Kitakaze/Tashkent for mob clearing and let CLs do AA.

Tier list used and Timestamps in the description! + I PRONOUNCE SORTIE CORRECTLY, TIMESTAMP IN DESCRIPTION! Here's some clarification from the Reddit post regarding the list: Is this for PvE or PvP? PvE Why isn't this ship as good as I have heard in other threads/lists? This list is based off the current state of the CN server and the hardest content available there. However, as the EN server is nearly caught up to that of CN/JP, this list is very applicable to the current end game content on it. In general, ships with better air and anti-air capabilities are more valued at higher levels, which should be factored in when using this list.

I am happy you greatly emphasis on the waifu value, cause there is little point to play this game if all is just meta.

When I check my game's archive, it says to explore 10-1. I'm still only on chapter 9, so do I have to clear 10-1 for her to drop for me?

@@joezhangmd Um, the starter ships should be able to drop from every single stage starting from 2-1 all the way up to 13-4. I guess you've just been really unlucky but Z23 should be able to drop from basically all the story maps. I don't know where it says explore 10-1, but I would definitely ignore that since you can get Z23 from almost every story stage as a rare drop.

can you do an updated list since we have a few new destroyers and new retrofits like Yuudachi's?

Kitakaze just recently got an insane buff. You know how the last limit break of destroyers now have an extra buff, either the torp spread is thinner, the aux equipment gets a bonus or the hits required to activate the barrage is halved? Well the Kitakaze got the last one, with double autoloaders and the type 100mm DD gun, it fires at 0.67s a wave. Since it has an extra main gun mount... My Kitakaze is currently letting out 6 torps around every 5 seconds alongside the barrage assuming there is an enemy there at all times for it to fire its guns at. That's in addition to the extra lotus torpedo barrage and it's regular torpedoes. It literally has torpedo diarrhoea.

It isn't a "point 76", it's 76mm. .76 would imply an American convention of naming small arms cartridges in inches(.22, .308, .38, .45, .50), giving a 19mm diameter projectile(.76*25.4). 76mm is a "3 inch". en.wikipedia.org/wiki/3"/50_caliber_gun is the gun in question.

New player here. For vanguard, does mixing ships matter? If im using light cruisers would it best to only use light cruisers? Or is mixing destroyers, heavy/light cruisers ok?

Mixing the different vanguard ship types are usually the more preferred option. Each vanguard ship type has a particular strength and weakness, so putting in different types will be able to cover up those weaknesses. (Ex: Heavy Cruisers have high DPS, but cost lots of oil and are slow-moving. Putting in a Destroyer along with a Heavy Cruiser will increase the speed of your vanguards and the Destroyer will cost less than the Heavy Cruiser)

Could you give me some info on Le Malin please if possible?

Had no idea about the stats since I just use Cruisers for the Vanguard if possible. I still have Laffey though, from when I started, who I picked because she seemed like a slacker. I've gotten a bunch of DDs since then and have to say, if I had to pick 3 of them again, I'd go for Ooshio, Hatsushimo and Fortune. And stats and abilities have nothing to do with it either. Ooshio is just funny being a Yuri (kind of like Ark Royal, but more open about it, so thus, more likeable), Hatsushimo is smug AF and is one step from mocking you to your face (kind of like Aoba, but less subtle about it) and Fortune just creeps me out (I've yet to find out what that fate is that's always approaching, but I'll get there, eventually..). I love this game :|

love javelin too, use her with queen elizabeth and she shreds everyone, most of the time steals mvp

Ark Royal: *Drols* I like Destroyers. I will protect them from close to far.

My favorite DD is Javelin because she's tanky and definitely the fastest, which is good for pvp (much better than other starter ships)

Try to use prototype 152mm AP gun on her. She can annihilate up to 2 targets on hit and DPS become higher than DD gun.

I have Yukikaze and fully Retrofitted San Diego, Laffey On my main fleet without knowing they're all highest Tier.. huh this feels good.. although the only reason is they're my most favorites ship-girls of all time (Design wise and Personalities)

Javelin got the design that way because, 4 Major Power, most HMS design base on Evade. USS most design on AA. IJN on Torp. KMS for their tankiest(HP/shield etc but not evade and spd) and U boat. that my thought, on how Dev. starts to design them and obviously, there are some exceptional.

If you for some odd reason do those S.O.S missions Javelin has is good against submarines

Tartu is my favorite favorite she is so strong so if she isnt on this list then I'll have to see what le malin and le triomphant do cus they are way up on the list and the ones I know are at my disposal

Is it bad I guess how good some ships are in my fleets by the way they look and somehow be more than 50% correct?

Since you'd want to focus more on a fast-firing gun so she can shoot her "All Out Assault" more, I'd use the "Twin 100mm (Type 98) AA Gun", (what I'm using currently) since it's fast-firing but also pretty good at taking down enemy shields. The other option is to trade out some of that shield break capability for even faster firerate with the "76mm AA Gun" , which is a blue rarity gun that has the fastest firerate in the game.

@@ArcFlash16 Ammo type does not affect All-Out-Assault at all. I like to think of All-Out-Assault as an extra source of damage a ship gets after they fire their main guns a certain amount of times. Every ship already has a set All-Out-Assault (you can see it in the limit break section if you click the video part), the only factor that can change is how often it can be activated. This is why Yukikaze needs a fast-firing gun so that her All-Out-Assault can be triggered faster, since her main gun shoots more often. Edit: grammar

I would say yeah to most of the DD's, especially Ayanami Retro and Yukikaze. Just keep in mind that if the enemy has an Aurora or Chapayev then your DD's will die significantly faster due to their skills that lower DD evasion.

Kitakaze actually has weird torpedo skill. I've been using Dev 26 Kitakaze and she has hard time triggering the skill. Even if her skill procs, it miss most of the time.

Max dev her first, if her accuracy is still terrible. Try equip her w sg radar or something else. Gear and lvl make perfect lol

I have Shirakami Fubuki at Level 110 rn with max skills and though why not equip her with a freak ton of torpedo stats and a rainbow magnetic torp for her 1st skill and accidentally created a fox girl that nukes with her corn torps and guns... huh... The only obvious problem she will have is the lackluster of survivability stats..

She's in the extra section called "Supports". Usagi-sensei (the tier list maker) decided it would be better for her to be put there instead of her regular ship class because she is used mostly for her "Operation Rainbow" skill, and is not as known for her FP or TRP. Totally agree that her barrage is amazing. Cool looking purple fireballs that also deal good amounts of DMG? Sign me up!

Nice video and good info, but the whole video is you talking over a single picture. You should show something else too, the video is pretty boring and it's hard to follow sometimes. For example, when you talk about Single 76mm gun, show a picture of this gun in the video. When you talk about a ship's skill, show a picture of this skill. When you talk about a ship, you can show her art too. It will be way easier to watch your videos if you show visual references.

Good question. The tier list maker listed her under the "Supports" category instead of placing her with the rest of the destroyers. If you're curious to why he made a separate tab called "Supports," I think it's because the ships in that category have a different purpose than what they would usually do in their class archetype. In Eldridge's case, she's mostly used for her Operation Rainbow skill and is not known for her FP or TRP stats, so I feel she's better suited in that category.

Cooper is placed in the Supports category of the tier list instead of the destroyers category. This is because of her anti-submarine abilities. Overall, she's a solid destroyer I'd probably place in T2-T3 because she has potential to be very good if a submarine boss comes out later on.

Kitakaze doesnt has very good stats. Shes pretty average. What makes her good its her skills only. Besides that shes pretty garbage. Also, talking about the tierlist priority... Z46 is a beast on chapter 13 and shes only T2. Her skills makes her as good as Sandy retrofit but yet shes at T2. FOr chapter 13, shes a lot better than Yukikaze and Kitakaze

Shangri-La just pay attention to what he said... “she’s tier 0 because she has good stats”. Stats are not skills or what equips she uses. The explanation is pretty bad. But again, just because she’s a PR ship doesn’t mean she’s the best for chapter 13. For someone to truly explain this “tier list”, he should lvl up all the ships and max limit break all of them and than play test all the different combinations and truly see which one is good or not. That’s what I do in the game since the day one.
