Sinnoh All autoloaders and rammers, all tbf avengers and swordfishes, all 140mm pebble launchers, all blue guns except one 76mm anti air gun that can be use on eldrige to proc barrage, all anti air gun that is not gold and is not mentioned in the video, all japanese cased torp, the expose quad and quintuple is ok (you can get them on every boxes except iron blood anyways) and also the duo 610mm. also ditch all the normal bullet type guns except for gold 100mm destroyer guns that can be used on ijn destroyer for easy barrage proc.

VERY VERY VERY HELPFUL!...

Good guide overall, though it's probably worth mentioning that some guns are better suited for barrage DDs (though this is probably beyond the point of a beginner's guide). Hopefully no one out there is scraping their Gold Twin 100mm guns.

i got mission tu combining techbox, how to combine that?

Perhaps separate guide for skill synergy equipment since few of such weren't mentioned?

For CL guns as auxiliarys you prefer the 155 and twin 152 over the triple 152? I was always lead to believe the triple 152 was a better aux gun

triple 155 does more dmg because HE shell, twin 152 has better spread and can penetrate multiple target, triple 152 is in btw. Depends on the situation but genereally I stick with Twin 152.

Great guide. However I have to add sometimes certain ships actually work better with a quick firing 100mm IJN Type 98 or even the puny 76mm single mk22 would benefit skill procs.

the extra benefit is so minor I would consider them a late game luxury, for early-mid game just using twin 127mm is never wrong.

You mean purple quad 533 homing, the quint is currently unobtainable, as it is legendary (above gold) tier.

Royal gold boxes are absolutely worth it even at full price if you need gold Barracudas. Thats the only way to get them, and the difference between gold and purple is huge.

Which gun do you think best suited for Z46? Since she need to have AP gun for her skill

Z46 uses gold twin 127mm, dont use AP gun because the DPS is just awful. Even with the skill its not worth it.

Twin 128mm is a gun for clearing suicide boat trains (due to AP piercing) while the twin 127mm is the "good in almost any situation" choice, including PvP if u don`t have better.

@@contra8053 No, gold 127mm is the top pick for PvP. Of course the level of the gear plays a huge role when deciding. To sum it up: twin gold 127mm is the best choice in PvP for BB's.

76mm AA gun is also a good destroyer main gun despite being blue rarity. Worth using on destroyers with good barrages and firing dependant skills.

The low firepower will also affect the barrages damage. Use it carefully because it only benefits that one or two specified destroyers.

So useful, thank you! A quick question: I was using the twin 128 mm as a main gun for Z46 because of its AP rounds synergy with her skill which deals extra AP dmg, do any of the alternatives have AP rounds? And if not should I just stick with the twin 128mm?

the Twin 128mm ap gun has so low DPS even with max z46 skill it is still lower DPS than twin 127mm HE.

It's just better to keep it, since the update of a new gear will become available very lately, i still advice you to keep it... I even had 100+ on all of the 4 T3 boxes just to be use for the next update... It's better to keep it for bigger odds of getting good gear rather than having to using it early and having a low odds on getting the gear that you really want... Even in JP server the guns mentioned are still the best or at least top tier, also get your ships powerful early so you can start farming for better equips or jintsuu faster

Another thing to add on. For AA guns it's good to keep those which have higher ROF like Vickers or 76mm single. The guns mentioned have good dps but slow fire rate so the overall AA circle will suffer. For CVL like Unicorn of Shouhou I would use gold comet over SB2C, you can try purp fairey fulmar but it will do like no dmg, but it has the shortest takeoff time, which gives more heals. For torps the triple or quad 610mm are decent choices too.

Actually the AA guns he listed are the top choices by offering the best balance between RoF and damage output. The ones u listed have high RoF but really poor damage; also things to consider are range, especially for the main fleet AA, as u want them to fire at planes as early as possible. The guide is an overall one, if u want to go into min-max, there are some slight changes in choices for some specific ships like Ayanami, Unicorn, shelling vs barrage proc ships, AoE vs ST damage scenarios, buffing, so on. The guide is meant as an "you can`t go wrong with this" rather than something very in-depth.

@@workloadspd main fleet AA choices doesn't rly matter as all AA comes tgt into the AA circle. The purp gun choices he mentioned have like the LOWEST rof in the game (except bofors), which makes firing the AA twice difficult if you can't kill them all the first shot. Also yea the guide isn't in depth but I wouldn't want newbies to scrap all other gears not listed in the guide.

JU87 is great at graf zep(because of her skill which turns that dove bomber into hell diver. but its bomb is too small for other dive bombers) its a horrible dive bomber if not use to graf

3c is recommending the Purple Twin 150mm TbtsKc as the best GENERAL PURPOSE CL gun, but it is an AP gun. For Belfast you want to use HE guns since she has a HE skill. If you pay attention to the video, 3c says the Gold Triple 155mm is the other option, since it is the best HE CL Gun you can have. Twilight Raven probably said to use the purple one if you don't have the golden, the same way 3c said in this video "If you don't yet have the gear shown in this guide, you can use the lower rarity version"

Twin 120mm has a high fire rate if i remember, DD guns shell modifier against heavier ships is low, like ap shells on DD only deals 90% of total damage to heavier ships if i remember

I normally use the gold twin 100mm for it's fire rate, I'm pretty sure I scrapped all my twin 120mm. For AP I use the German purple twin 128mm on Z46. BUT if the map has more light armor than med and heavy, just use a twin 127mm

What about the Blue 76mm AA gun that is a Destroyer gun. That has the fastest reload time when maxed out right now, that's useful for vanguard ships that have a decent barrage.

Can you separate between who is best at PVP and PVE, since I don't think that the twin 150mm for CL or the 203mm for CA will be a good option in pvp, cuz most of the meta front lines consist of destroyers and light cruisers who laughs at AP shells, also the b6n tenzan is a coin flip, it can deal a lot of damage or it can deal none.

AP against armored ships, HE against light ships, Tho you can also use HE shells against any ships since once enemy is on fire, HE shells amplifies the damage (fire damage deals damage over time) just3c has mentioned this in one of his videos

@@charlieperaltaf But the damage of the AP is more reliable. also '' only a fraction " is completely false The single target dmg of HE is much higher than of AP. However, the AP can hit 3 ships which triples the damage output and have much more accuracy. Theres no point in packing a punch if you cant hit it. .

they havn't updated gear box in years so it is still kinda works. However nearly all the weapons from boxes are obsolete in the current patch.

nice vid :D However, when you brought up only buying t4 boxes when they are heavily discounted, and its better to just farm gold gun BPs, most of the time it takes alot longer to farm up and build a gold gun than just to farm up the gold to buy specific boxes, yes its not nice to spend 25k on opening 5 purple guns, but if lady luck finds her way its alot easier to just farm gold for boxes, no?

Well, dealing half of helldiver's damage is already kind of problematic. 2 100lbs bombs are *very* weak, and you'll notice at a glance. In comparison with Junkers(Ju-87) Which also uses 100lbs and 1000lbs bombs It has +1.13 reload advantage and +20 plane stat and those two are very inconsequential compared to 2 more bombs carried by Junkers. In conclusion: +1 sec reload for CV isn't really worth it for long run, it became a meme for min/maxing your CV/CVL reload.. And +20 plane stat is almost insignificant compared to having more payload(in this case 2 more 100lbs bombs). Also did you know that for a CV(ex: akagi,kaga hiryuu).. That +1.13 more RoF is actually toned down to ~0.59 in actual combat this is because the lower the ship's loadout on a certain plane, the lower it's RoF will have an impact on the overall airstrike time of a ship. So yeah, you may have to consider that on planning on what is the best to put on your ships. All of that being said, just use the Helldiver for general use.. even for the healers like shouhou.. +1 sec isn't really going to produce 1 more airstrike most of the time. The only reason to use faster reload plane is when you're adjusting a certain ship reload(like for example shoukaku) who needs to airstrike first before other backlime ships and when you need a specific reload time for EX mode run.

THOT HUNTER pvp planes are faster than pve planes, even with a good aa gun you can't kill them all completely, but it reduce the suicide damage because aircraft suicide damage is based on their remaining hp if i remember

I agree with you that it should be noted somewhere in the video at least as a footnote while saying that it has its uses with certain boats, but the nature of this video is still primarily about gear that can never truly be called a mistake to use, even if it's not 100% optimal on every single boat.

The video is not noted as "The most generally useful items" but as "what to keep". So really no excuse is good enough for omitting them. Don't get me wrong, I'm not bashing on Just3c. I like his AL stuff, if anything it's just constructive criticism/something comment readers can use to round out the video.

It's way more valuable to have another barrage than +20 FP. Plus, you know, the gold guns have the worst spread possible and hit twice at best anyway while the 410 almost always hits.

But, the gear stats has the most impact on damage, like if you have lvl 100 BB equipped with guns that are lesser than +10 deals less damage even tho the firepower stats are high, for example based on my experience, i give hood the +10 mk6 gun and she deals 2k damage from each shell of her salvo, but when i switch it with same gun but +7, she deals 1.2k-1.5k each shell per salvo even tho her firepower stats is the same
