Need at least 6 Oxygen Torpedoes, one of everything else. Save about 2000 core data, and buy more Oxygen torpedoes when you have excessive.

Most Vanguard will need at least one Oxygen Torpedoes. With 2 fleet, you need 6. If you want 2 per ships. that will require even more. So yet, need a lot of Oxygen Torpedoes. At least it beats buying rainbow cheats.

It should be mentioned that with the help of Meowficers, now the Battery is no longer a must have. The optimal gears for submarines are 1 Snorkel + 1 Oxytorp.

At least it isnt half bad as Fighter. While Gold Me is decent, for speed, Skyrocket is the best (Fighter). Combine that with CVL which has good RLD and barrage-like skill.

Funny enough I was just going through the Core Data on the wiki seeing what else there will be and this happens. Thanks for the advice!!

not really related to the video but can a team with Ibuki, Ayanami, Jintsuu and 6 rainbow torp kill enemy frontline instantly ???

I actually bought 2 skyrockets for Lusty. I love how fast her cooldown tho. I have nothing else to buy anyways. I bought 5 torp sticks and end up using only 3 of them. Buying those just to be used by subs are even more a waste since subs aint really a big factor in the game( I dont really use them).

I don't get this part 3:59 Isn't buff Helena fixed time at 20s? But with that aux you can reduce her time? Or something like that?

I believe It's for adjusting the timing of your airstrikes so that they happen at the right time to take advantage of her skill. You want to make sure they do their airstrikes in that few second window that her skill is active.

Some aviation ship have longer cooldown depends on the reload stats they have and the gear they equipped. So using homing beacon is likely using (autoloader) in my opinion. Since aviation ship could not equip (autoloader). Correct me if im wrong. And sorry if my english is bad.

I’m curious, does the swordfish slowdown stack with ark royal’s skill? I know it would be very overkill but still interesting to know.

its still an ok gun for lower level players that arent anywhere close to getting the prototype guns from research.

Can i ask something? Is autoloader worth on laffey, i do know autoloader on all other ship suck though. Because she has reload buff i’m thinking it might be decent for her

You'd have to run the numbers to be sure of what the dps gain would be, but using an Oxy Torp would likely be a larger buff than an Autoloader.

SB2C is prolly hands-down the best dive bomber out there. 2,500 lbs worth of payload and 2x .50cal MGs for anti-air. McClusky falls short with only 2,200 lbs worth of payload, and no guns for anti-air. In terms of PvE, I'd say McClusky fits the dive bombing MO next to SB2C, if u haven't got the latter. In conclusion, SB2C Helldiver is still the best with its massive bombing capabilities. Just roll with that.

Different uses, but for the most part Formidable provides good enough slow

Well only if you have her. Also, assuming you only have 1 formidable (I mean, duh), you want a slow down for both your mob and boss fleet. Put formidable in your boss fleet and 818 in the mob

I've only ever made 9 purchases in core shop and all of them were the rainbow rare pure oxygen topredos which I fitted onto my Ayanami and other Sakura Empire torpedo stat boosters that enabled me to 1 shot bosses on manual play.

Is Akatsuki worth it or just stick to the items you say to get?

when you clear a hard mode map node with 3* then clear it untill the threat level goes to safe it automatically activates clearing mode for that map node. in clearing mode only the boss will appear which helps with farming since the boss has the highest drop rates for blueprints and rare ships.

After buying this month's torpedo stick am pretty low on core data. For now will just make sure I keep accumulating enough of it to buy up what I need next month. Between Ayanami, Ibuki and subs I'll probably need to keep on buying them for the foreseeable future.

I buy the oxy torp and the big gun(for ships like hood) every month. It’s not so hard to be honest, as we have to wait 30days for reset. I also got one 203 proto for Atago, because she has the HE-Skill.

Is the Helldiver still better currently? I did end up getting the McClusky before watching this because, "Hey, it's a gold bomber, that should be good!". Comparing them side by side, the McClusky has a total of 2,200 lbs of bombs compared to 3,000 on the Helldiver. But the 2,000 lb bomb alone gets more damage out of the McClusky, and you get more AVI (not sure how much of a difference that makes though).

McClusky is garbage in the current patch, maybe it will be better than Helldiver once +13 equipment are introduced in 3 month but for now it is way worse.

Dammit, I already bought the XF5F! I thought it was really cool...

I feel like white shell would go perfectly with Jean Bart lol.

The Type 94 AA device cost 300 core not 500, also is not bad, if you dont have the high performance air radar, you could use it on chapter 12 on your battleships or heavy cruisers if they have bad AA, wich is 80% of the time.

You should consider make a guide for the lecture hall. Its kind of confusing when it comes to understanding how it works i find.

pretty simple really, every ship over lv100 you do battle with fills the Lecture hall bar, you can then use those points to lv up ships under lv100. the more ships you sent to class at once the more efficient their exp gain become. which type of ship you can send to class cycles through the week. finally, the higher the lv of the lecture hall the more points you can save up without spending, the more efficient they are and the faster you get them

To build on Milo's comment, a single ship gets 50% the consumed XP, scaling as more ships are added to a max of 20% per ship at a full 5. So if you really need XP for only 1 ship, put in that 1, otherwise always use 5 for efficiency.

I personally prefer the Twin 381 on my Izumo since I find the Barrage proc is way more useful than the shelling.

About that fighter that carry 0 bomb, i do have 1 particular usage: leveling up frontliner. I use Unicorn with fighter that carry 0 bomb so that my frontliner can get the MVP, and Unicorn job is just healing. This is extremely useful if i want to level up my frontliner quickly, but she is low leveled and when i bring her to high level map she will sinks quickly. But if i level her on level map i don't get purple plate. So i use one BB + Unicorn + frontliner + DD (to minimize ambush). I do have Me-155A, so this fighter is not a must for me. Still, i think having at least 1 fighter with 0 bomb is useful in my case.

the purple Fairy Fulmar bomber for the quickest reload with the lowest dmg can fullfill the same roll on carriers that you want to use for the buffs rather than the dmg like Shouhou

@tell me can't really farm guns in 8-1 cos I'm too focused on the event and then I need to go to 10-4 which is gonna be a long grind. Jintsuu also needs a torp stick, so gotta save 1 for her, and then at least 3 for subs. so that's 8 sticks.. At least I got lucky with gold boxes from the event, got one extra belfast gun to go around for Jintsu :D

@tell me actually I could leave that map already, I'm missing 3k points to get KGV and then I have bought every single item from event store. D3 is just good map for equipment (toolbox, gold AA gun and triple 406mm) no ambushes and elite flerts tend to drop more plates. And w12-13, well.. might use yukikaze as DD there but other than that CL all the way. A good balance between speed, survivability and dmg. CA are just crap and DD not enough stats to go around to be efficient.

tell me I'm about to start grinding Roon next, maybe she's one CA I end up using a lot. So far there are 2 I've used a lot, Minne and Deutchland. Those 2 have been unique and good enough in my eyes to justify using them.. Tho I wish Deutchland would get aux gun to replace her torps. Even without +1 main gun, I'd take it.. but maybe that's just me, cos I always run trash fleet BB/BC + Akashi and solo front. CL is best solo front, balanced and all that, good for taking out the trash. Usually Phoenix or Belfast cos they don't turn into open top submarines on autoplay after ramming enemy ships left right and center.

The 203mm Prototype gun is good, but only for Saint Louis, so when u had 800 Core data for it, buy one :)

Why did i watch this AFTER spending my cores. Dammit. I also maxed out the McClusky thinking it'd be better on Enterprise over the btd-1

Need those shells and beacon. Black shell i want to put to Sirius and Beacon (AVI booster which doesnt increase HP) for Chaser. My luck isnt good with the research so, i did buy prototype 203mm twice. And I'm a lazy person, to swap equipments.

The dildos are great on Dorsetshire. She has excellent torpedo skill but her base torpedo stat is low.

sad thing for EN, only availabe proto 203mm,skyrocket,rainbow torp,main gun 381mm,and those box. There's nothing else. 😩😩

SBD Dauntless MD. Eh, not really a waste of data. I bought it so it can kinda be historically accurate with Enterprise. It’s not that bad

And of coarse like an idiot I purchased the XF5F Skyrocket before I saw this guide because I thought it was a carpet bomber like the ones that fly high in the air to avoid AA and fighters during WWII.

Well I bought 203 mm for all Japanese CA I have, for historical purposes plus I like the camo

You don't need a sub to kill sub bosses though. Especially with the new Koln retrofit. Grab a CL/DD vanguard with Koln Kai, possibly Chaser in the main fleet and let it rip.

Ive been collecting core data since its implemented and i only have 1k so far, core data is the slowest currency to build up

Whoops, so buying the Prototype 203mm for the second time might actually be a bad idea? Oh well, at least it's pretty decent weapon. Edit: Isn't the Twin 381mm really good for barrage ships, like Hood? I think it has the fastest fire rate for a BB gun.

imo, 381 is faster with better FP, but lower dmg per shell, so if your bb really rely on barrage 381 is really good for dmg, otherwise it just have great reload

381 give you additional shot on very long run. Fp boost only need if your ship have, I don't remember, like lower than 340 fp. If more then it not worth it. There is in depth guide on internet. I'm disappointed with this gun, it gives so little, compare that with torpedo that allow Ayanami to one shot everything. Even CA gun is useful somewhat. Coredata wasting.

381 is amazing on Hood because her barrage is the majority of her damage. In most other situations, the speed difference compared to damage (both hits and burn) lost not using the 410 is not worth it. The other exception to that being using one in PvP to stutter firing times and get that shot off faster than your opponent.

I have only buy 3 items so far. Oxy torps, because of the hype around it, prove to be pretty useless since i dont use much torpedo ship in my main kms/hms fleet. The 381mm, really good gun, regret not buying 2 or 3 of this, could use it on no LB rodney/nelson for monarch grind. The XF5F, I get this cause it looks cool, useless af, but it do looks really cool, so theres there. Now, the only thing that worth for me is 381mm, and those shell aux, better save core now.

In your case, the oxy torps are useful for all those RN cruisers to make their torps do more than tickle enemies.

Here I am with my 3 oxygens, 4 381mms and 2 203mms... Oh well

ME and skyrocket are exactly the same (skyrocket is like 0.2 second faster which translate to about 0.1 second on airstrike cooldown. ME gives more avation stats)

@@rockingalan its BARELY faster, in practice it makes 0 difference, so there is no point to buy it. (ME-155 also have higher Anti-air which is super important on late game maps)

as a fellow heavy cruiser user I can vouch for your decision. I have bought three and when I did I was aware that there was a slightly better gun on research but even so on the meanwhile the improved quality of life in having your heavy cruisers with a decent dps has been worth it every bit

@@MiloTheFirst1 Do you not have any gold SKC's? Or are you only running Saint Louis and Atago? Proto's are better only against single target, light armor, and are considerably weaker in almost every other possible situation.

​@@Orthus100 I have quite a few gold SKC , the thing is that in most occasions light armor is by far the most common. but really the main reason I don't use gold SKC is that it is a waste of purple plate. while the research HE gun is just barely a slight upgrade to the Core data 203, the research AP gun is a lot better than the regular golden SKC, so I chose spending my plates on the 203 while I already had access to them and wait for the research mechanic to launch before spending plates on a AP gun. also regarding your question on the fleet composition, I use Deutschland and Spee, which have a +35% bonus against light Armour, here is the catch, originally I though this was all the more reason to use the SKC, after all, it meant still having a high modifier against medium and heavy while making up for their bad modifier against light with their skill, but in practice it resulted far more efficient to one-shot all the light armor grunts with a 170% modifier while charging their powerful AP barrage until the medium or heavy Armour spawn, at to this the fact that the 203 is 23% faster than the SKC and I think it is evident why I prefer it

@@MiloTheFirst1 1. That's not how modifier math works. 2. You are forgetting the cleave aspect of AP, which is great on dense trash. I'd have to run the math to see if the one extra barrage you'd get is worth it since Deutschland barrage is pretty good.

@@Orthus100 what problem do you see in my math? please elaborate, no, really I am not challenge you, if you are seeing something that I don't please let me know. That been said, I am not sure how the dmg calculation code is build so I chose 170% since it IS THE LOWEST POSSIBLE. Heavy cruiser gun modifier for light Armour is 135% according to the wiki. we disused it in the discord server and skill buffs seem to be additive so in Deutschland case her buff calculator should actually be like this (dmg+0.35dmg)Modifier, thats 182% but since I haven't read the code first hand I chose to tell you 170% to prove my point. Also, Armour break ailment only triggers on Heavy Armour which is exceedingly rare, and is only triggered by shelling from the back line. I would only count on it against bosses, and even then very few of them are heavy armor at all. on the other hand it works wonders against EX bosses since most of them are BB

I just use 1500 to buy gear box :))

yeah moving to a new apartment. right now my living condition is pretty bad.

I disagreed with the first part of CA gun. I mean, HOW LONG does it take to get the researchable CA gun? You can't just rely on it immediately. It took 25 blueprints to complete, and by that time, are you sure you can just upgrade it right away? And you can only buy one per month, it is 800 core, not too expensive I believe. That golden gun might not be the best, but it is reliable enough to carry you through the game. Getting at least two of them for your two core CAs should be enough, a third one might be redundant but it is fine.

The researching projects are pretty random anyway. If you took one month normally to get one gun, it is better to improve other things first before the gun can be usable.

For me CA gun was more useful than BB gun. BB gun give so little in comparison to already existing gun that it not worth it.

AP guns fire slowly, and CA gun's HE shell is pretty deadly anyway.
