I was wondering why they didnt mention what happened to Azeris that was there when Armenia invaded in 90s then i heard him say Armenia is a Christian country between Muslim countries and i was like ohh ok this is the same shit Brits have been doing since WW1 and they are still doing it in India also, well guess what people are much smarter now and the your kingdom is no more.

Regarding that war, USA goal is to make sure Turkey and Iran are not allies. Russia goal was to be present there as peacekeepers in order to have influence. Turkey goal is to connect to Azerbaijan. Iran goal is stop Azerbaijan expansion since there are Azeri separatists in north of Iran.

This conflict has nothing to do with religion. Iran actually is a close ally of Armenia, they trade arms and organize mutual military trainings. Nagorno-karabakh was mostly ethnic Armenians, I would admit, but what about other 5 regions they invaded and wiped out in 1990s, which were mainly ethnic Azerbaijani. International court states all those regions belong to Azerbaijan. Therefore, the 2020 war was to get whats legally Azerbaijan's.

Absolutely agree it's not about religion. I was very surprised to learn that Israel is one of Azerbaijan's biggest weapons suppliers (along with Turkey of course). Maybe that's due to the Armenia / Iran friendship? And obviously you're right about NK being internationally recognized as Azeri land.

I think people who have been in the military very long are unable to liberate themselves from the ways of thinking that have been put into their heads during this time. They tend to think about everything first and foremost in a military way. This prevents them from seeing the political or other backgrounds of events.

I feel the situation would be different if the territories were not engulfed around communist lands, and just in the view of Europe as too far away to access easily enough without russia yet again increasing the amount of interference they place in the area. I am saddened by the conflicts there and how helpless it seems, countries aren't respecting borders in the east anymore, even India and China, with China pushing the lines bit by bit, especially with their new "map" which they put more claims on lands, including Taiwan, which is a country I recognise and acknowledge exists in the world, like also the Baltics and Ukraine which I also recognise because russia denounced the recognition of a functioning well known countries.

56:55 Just has to do with historical relations with Communist Russia. After Stalin killed something around 5-10 million Ukrainians in the Holodmor, along with general treatment of the citizens during Soviet control of the area, they viewed the Nazis as liberators and not conquerers. They don't view WWII Germany the same as us. The Germans were the only people that came to their aid, intentional or not, and nobody else did.

Yes, mass migration of a religion that is historically intolerant of any other religion is a very bad mistake. As the % of Muslims increase, (Birmingham UK Muslim pop is 21%-Google it) they'll slowly get more pushy about wanting their own way. The UK and Europe are diluting their voter demographic and will lose their own unique cultures. Australia is sadly in the early stages of this as well. 🇦🇺

The area which was captured by Armenia had Azeri population of over one million which was killed or expelled. The Armenian population was & still is just 100K in that area which is 10% of Azeri original population of the same area in 1990. Azerbaijan has just taken what legally belongs to them. Armenia is the culprit and must be punished & condenmed for its agression, genocide & ethnic cleansing.
