Interesting but you can edit out the coins you just throw to the side. Fast forward even. Still it’s calming watching coins being looked at for some reason 😆

What magnification is your magnifying glass you use on your show or what you use I think mine is to much magnifying as it like all the coin is enlarged to much, and have to put magnifier right up close to were you want see coin

Hi PJ! Came across your video by accident.....some things were meant to be, you think? In relation to the 'Centenary Of Federation' coins, what is the value of having most or all of them? ACT, WA, NT, VIC and one I cant make out what it says? Crown on top of a shield, with a bird inside it. Plus other things, I cant make out. I don't suppose you know which one it could be and also what would the value of these coins be, please, let alone the set? Thank you. I have found your videos, educational and inspiring. :-)

back in the 1980s i had a 50 cent coin that made a clack sound when dropped (like hard plastic) i was showing my parents when it split in two. heads in one hand, tails in the other hand. the inner surface was very rough looking but clean. i sold it to a coin collector for $50, have you ever seen a coin do that. what do you think it be worth.

hey I had questions is there any way you clean coins and could you do a vid on your collections :)

  • @stupidsaint1

you can clean decimal coins with a paste (the consistency of yogurt) made from Bi-Carb Soda and water (or soda water for extra fizz) ... soak the coins in the paste ... 10 minutes for brightening ... and upto 2 hours for removing toning ... then rinse off with water If toning is stubborn ... you can rub with the slightest pressure, in a yin-yang motion ... (eg. if the coin was a clock face), one thumb is at 6 oclock and one thumb on the 12 ... then rotate, doing 1/2 circles with both thumbs, back and forth gently ... before test rinsing ... if you are happy with the result, dry off the coin with a soft cloth. Remember to always check the value of a coin ... prior to attempted cleaning ... as valuable coins that have been cleaned, often get a lower grading, as cleaned.
