What a fun video thank you! My husband collects the $2 coloured coins and they really are beautiful. If there isn't anyone waiting in line at a shop after me I ask if they mind having a quick peek in the $2 for colours to swap with me. Most staff are happy to look and often I get one or two.

My better half and I have just go into the hobby. Getting rolls and going through them for the collection seems like a fun activity!

how do you get the rolls, and why not get the brand new coin rolls ?

I have a $2 coin that has got shade or something??? On back n it also has a flat spot where the shaded part is, I'd love for U to have a look

In the roll PJ had opened today there was $50 worth with the HH and Coloured 2 dollar coins and without the HH there was $30 with the coloured coins. If there was anymore HH coins that I did't see please had that to the 50 dollars worth of coins I counted, Also Have A Wonderful 2020.

Yeah far too many. Might need to sell some in bulk. Too much work to sell individually and not worth it.

Don't forget there is a 2008 counterfeit 2$ coin going around too. Some guys in WA got busted for it. Found 2 so far. Give away is the engraving on the beard and queens hair.

Last times I did a $2 Hunt I found an invictus games $2 And a common wealth games coloured and I only noodled through $50 worth

It's nice getting 2 colours out of 1 roll.

I've got a whole bunch of those 2 dollar coins with coloured bands on it celebrating different occasions like Saint Patricks day for example, are they worth something like more than face value ?

Would you rather go through $2 or $1? And what rolls do you prefer to go through? Personally, I like 20c, 50c, and $1. Find most of my finds in the 50c.

how can i tell if a penny is a proof penny. i have a 1959 australian melbourne mint penny in uncirculated condition and the die is beautiful. but im not sure if its a proof penny? love your vids though thanks! 👌

I found a $1 changeover that looks unc. My sister found a gold poppy for me. I cant find any 20c state coins not even SA - still.

I dont think the gold poppy is that special since i have found around 15 in normal change in the last year

The only gold poppy i.ll hold on to is from the 2018 commemorative set,circulation just under thirty thousand

Was a nice amount found, With the prices of the red 2012 poppy you would think we would be seeing people painting the gold poppy red :-) Have you found both 2019's and colour 2019 yet? HH Brad

Don't complain about fuel price . In Queensland Australia we pay $1.67 a litre. Different towns & states different prices. Wish we were paying ur prices

Your missing the best bit. The price. Like on Antiques Roadshow, 1st - What it is, 2nd - The story behind it and 3rd the value/price. It covers all the bases and is definitely (one of the reasons) why the show is so popular.

The price on the coins fluctuates greatly depending on the current market. Check ebay for current prices.

One video you'll have to show the big pile of coins after a hunt.
