Yeah sadly he's another devon n Todd. As an Aussie I'm ashamed, his humerous was in a negative position whilst he was under the table in a LOSING POSITION. That's a huge foul. Yet it bled his opponent n won him the match. He looks alot bigger than opponent also who was tired also n had a lefty match. That king's in round 2 was weak as piss so cowardly. Really good set up at AWE, solid commentary team, camera angles and table setup is great. Really like the table being at the centre of a cage too. Really spot on format. This was a great fight too. Good job 👍

I know its important that the shoulder of the hand involved doesn't go below the table when performing the Kings move but he looked fine there. He did get a foul for a pretty dumb reason which was hand positioning before the match began which is something Artem 2x more than he did.

Was the king's move with the humerus bone descending allowed or the referee missed it? That round 2 was really strange, and killed any chance by Taranenko.

Nice to see Ryan back on the winning side but i would like to have seen this match with a fresh Artem, everything leading up to the match was against him with travel etc and also having a match on the left before this. I think if none of this took place then it would have been a much more exciting and closer pull

What are the rules on the King's Move? Heard the commentator say that it should have been called in the 2nd round on you but there was no call. I hope you don't mind, but I'm genuinely curious about the reasoning behind the decision to have Artem pull Mario first, especially considering the big anticipation and excitement that surrounded your match with Artem. I don't mean to diminish your win in any way, it's well deserverd, but it's plausible to argue that Artem's performance might have been affected by this particular decision.

Obviously it was affected. I rate this win as a training match, and deep down, Ryan knows this as well. That being said, a fresh Artem might not beat him anyway.

Yeah if Ryan wanted genuine respect for this win he should have pulled a well rested (not jetlagged) fresh Artem. Given Artem's condition and that awful King's Move (which would have been fouled in EvW or KotT) I think this "win" was relatively meaningless. That's without even considering the weight difference, although Artem agreed to it so in my mind that doesn't devalue it.

Great match! Apparently there's no "under the table" rule here. Nice win either way!

Big congratulations my friend I new you were going to turn into a beast what a match to have with him also I want to thank you again for sharing all your information and knowledge for free the last 3 1/2 years to me and answer any question I ever had and giving me the mental and physical strength because I pulled in the Canadian national championships on July 1 and 2nd and it was my first ever nationals also it was only my 4th ever tournament and I got 3rd place on my left arm and 5 on my right arm . Also got to hang out with Devon and Jodi and mike Gould and his wife and Earl Wilson and that was the cherry on top lol

Bro the kings move is the most difficult and risky skill in this sport. If you know how to do it, it means that you have superior abilities to many others. With this you can change and overturn every match by moving as you want around the table.
