Thanks again for the great content. I am looking forward to seeing the details of how you set up your northwest tank. I have not been able to find any detailed videos on the set up. I don’t want to mess up the tank, so I keep delaying the set up.

Hey Jeff, I'm working on that now. Been struggling to find a mini water heater that fits my setup. Should be done in the next couple weeks or so. I'll try to document it.

@@RichBuilt I have been looking for details on how to drill/tap the northWest tanks. Bit size and any sealer that is required is all information I have not been able to find. I went with Rixen for my air and water heating system. Still need to drop the fuel tank to tap for the Rixen hydronic system.

Thanks for all the great ideas, your videos have helped me so much! After two years, how has the setup been? Mainly curious if you've had any draining issues without having a vent on the tank?

Oh nice! I didn’t see that you were using it in the video. Are you using it now? I’m trying to map out how I’d want to route a hose through the van if I do use a vent

Thanks again for the helpful content. I am getting closer to pulling the trigger on a Ruvati sink. What bit did you use to drill out the soap dispenser? I was thinking a step bit should work?

Thanks Jeff! I used a hole saw very carefully and took my time with tape. I should have a video on the complete plumbing system up next weekend.

Hey John, the tank has a breather port on the top front but it works fine with it closed.

Hey Rich, I purchased the 7 gallon blue tank, Hepvo Valve, and the Swivel 90 deg Connector (I have more verticle space to work with than you). Unfortunatly, The swivel 90 degree conector threads do not match the 7 gallon tank lid. Also, I noticed you do not have a vent in your 5 gallon grey water tank. How well does your sink drain without giving the air in your tank a place to exit? How hard is it to disconect and re-conect your tank to empty it? It appears you are threded on the tank lid and the Swivel 90 deg Connector. What conector did you end up using? At the end of the video you are using the black Swivel 90 deg Connector to secure to the Hepvo Valve, but in other shots you are using the white connector from the Hepvo Valve. Does one option hold water better than the other? Again, THANK YOU for working through these details to enable others to sail through the details.

Hey Jeff, I installed the black swivel connector on the iteration. I didn't catch that in the video, but yes it held water better than the white connector. Imagine you'll have to modify the tank to make it work with my setup and the blue tank. It is difficult to remove, but I think that's because the space is so limited, but it's not too bad. I'll be modifying it soon so the opening for the tank cap is larger an the 90 deg down spout just slides in instead of threads in. I'll have to figure out a way to do this with a gasket so water doesn't splash out while driving if I decide to do this. If you look on the handle there is a cap that allows you to vent the tank and water to flow.

QUESTION: So how does the drain connect to the cap of the grey tank? Is it tight? How does it disconnect to empty the grey tank? TIA

Hey James, the tank cap is female threaded and the swivel connector is male threaded. I'm able to get a few turns to secure it

With the tank full of water, is the Velcro strong enough? I was thinking a strap would be needed for my build. But if Velcro is secure enough…
