As a Red Mage lover im really glad they seem to be continuing the rose magic theme with it! I love roses and red magic's rose themed spells are one of my favorite parts! Viper and Pictomancer look amazing and the land looks BEAUTIFUL.

Still hoping we get an AF based more closely on the aesthetics of red mage in Bravely Default.

I love how viper got a whole LB reveal while in every shot of pictomancer its nothing that wasnt shown in pictomancer's trailer

The benchmark always has new skills, gear and animations! It seems they really went in with the emotes too, for cuscenes most likely.

Looking forward to the newer battle mechanics to all the other DoW/DoM as well as Picto and Viper.

it looks like whm is going back to it’s cnj roots in dt! the weapon is very nature-themed, and that new job action, which i’m assuming is an upgraded medica II, with the petal effects, is very pretty

@@Anna.K.. i abbreviated conjurer to cnj and dawntrail to dt because my laziness took hold, lol. i doubt we will ever go back to it one-handed weapons and shields for whm, but eh, ya never know!

Its hard to really tell, but im pretty sure i spotted several new abilities from various classes

I want the new stand alone character creation with updated graphics, i was hoping that would have been announced along with the benchmark.

@@redlunatic2224 Yea did a little research, apparently the character creator comes with the benchmark, like it did with endwalker, just with it not being announced in any videos i assumed it wasn't this time, so all good..releases tomorrow 14th april.

@@VentrexTheXVth You don't need a fantasia. The Benchmark is not playable content. It is a tool to see if your machine can run the game and how well does it do it. It has a Character creator incorporated in it so you can remake your Wol or make a new one (It will also include Female Hrothgar to the roster). You will be able to download it tomorrow if you have a PC or a Laptop. You will see the trailer shown in the video, but on the starting screen there will be an option to create a character. That is where you will be able to make a female Hrothgar as well as all other races with the new Graphics. If you really like what you made in the Benchmark CC, then you can save it and if you play on the same machine you ran the benchmark then the save file will be available in game after DawnTrail releases. As for the fantasia, you can buy one and use it before logging off (before the 48 hour maintenance) and when you will be able to log in, you can immediately change your appearance through the CC (this is mostly so you don't have to log in and out for that). But everyone will receive a free Fantasia with the graphic update, I don't think we will be receiving that before DawnTrial releases. Also if you are on console, you will not be able to download the Benchmark, since it's main purpose is to test the machine, and that is not an issue for consoles. But even if you just have a Laptop lying around you can download it there, you do not need to own FFXIV on the machine you will run the Benchmark, it will work regardless.
