How do you keep the paper from buckling as it dries?

What kind of paper are you using? If you're using something like watercolor paper (a great paper for collage & mixed media), wet the paper on both sides and let it dry completely first. That will help with buckling. Then before you work on your project, tape it down around the edges with masking tape. Those 2 preparations will help with buckling. Personally I don't do either preparations any more bc I enjoy how my paper warps during the process. If it gets out of hand, I can always dry iron it from the back after my project is finished, but something about my book of imperfect warped mixed media pages bring me so much joy 😊
