Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
Professional artists Elli and John Milan have over 20 years of experience creating and selling art. Through their careers, they've learned what can make a piece of abstract art sellable and what can make it less appealing to the market. In this free workshop they demonstrate their processes for creating beautiful abstract art that will connect with collectors.

Hi, I am from the USA, 59 years on the planet 🌎🎨🤓🖌️ I have dabbled in various mediums and art techniques. I have learned by observation more than anything. I love the way abstract art can instinctively come freely from with in.

Fortunately age is no barrier to art, 64 this year and about to pursue an art career. Loving painting and getting better slowly. Key is pick up a brush and paint! KZread is great but good art also comes when you let go and have fun. I try to remembering five and loving painting with very mucky fingers🤓

❤I listened to artist interviews, but this is the first workshop! Love it!
Thanks much for sharing, I love it. John is fun, funny, and extremely knowledgeable. Please do more shows with John. We love him and you too, Elli. Guys go with force of color and forms, the eternal primordial powers.
This is the first video I’ve seen John in. He is so funny. I will definitely not let my neighbor steal my collage papers. lol. I’ve learned so much from your whole family. Excited to take the classes! I’m expecting to learn so much more!

I love abstract art because is so much fun easy and we can be child like❤️
O my goodness, just love this teaching, thank you so much, learned a lot
❤ First art workshop ever. I did watch the 13 artist that competed on the outstanding artist! It was awesome!
I liked the dark contrast that was on the left added a good dramatic contrast. John works in a very intuitive way.
❤ I see a city in the sky in this painting! Love it!!!
My first, Thank You, you communicate so well, and the two of you show how an artist can feel, I appreciate this!
This painting is simply gorgeous! I would love to have it hanging in my home! Also, I love John’s sweet, gentle and fun loving vibe he brings.
John should record some artist meditations, his voice is very calming and chill.

Enjoying this program. I joined and are in the waiting list for Mastery Program. Art has always been part of me, but served in the Navy, got my degree, joined Customs and did 27 years, got my Master Degree in Education and taught in high schools for 10 years. Now I am retired and want to really become the artist I can be. I am excited about this new journey I am taking with you guys.

❤ This is my first workshop. I've painted for years. Thanks for teaching new techniques x
I have tried some years ago to study Abstract WELL I got NOwhere and almost hated Abstract but Eli you have answered so much more than I learned over 2 years and several Tutors So thank yiu very much 😊❤ this is the first free class I have had with you THANKyou Eli
Have not felt this inspired to start up again in many years! Thank you ❤
❤️ fab painting! Im only just getting back to my art after many years break but I find Im more interested in Abstract and loose line work than I was back in Art college, but Im "playing to fix my soul" this time around as before I was very tight into trying to get that percieved realistic perfection, they used to sell but oh the stress of those commissions! Then I went to Art College where I did Fine Art and they tried their hardest to get me into Abstract and loose line work but 25 years ago they couldnt convince me...as Ive grown older with a 20 year break I now find Im driven towards Freedom. ❤️
❤ my first workshop with you and John. I just watch one your daughters videos. Love everything i see so far
Your explanations, suggestions and advice is extremely helpful and valuable.
In my opinion, John's addition drowned out the collage, its terse brilliance, its interest, its ba and ka! Is collaboration always best? Good luck to you both.
❤ I've been checking out your videos since I saw Elli do a talk on how to gain advantages over others, which was so interesting and inspired me to cocmpletely change my mindset about my art. Artist all my life with many skills and lots of work. This is the first full workshop video I watched start to finish. I love hearing Elli talk about art, and it was so interesting to meet John for the first time
I am watching you guys from Jos, Nigeria. Right now. I most admit... this my 5th times I am watching your videos. I just developed like for what you are doing. It's really encouraging. Thanks
I am a scad student from the 90s and I love how you fill in the gaps that were never taught there at that time period. I love painting and failed a painting class there too lol
❤ first one for me. Enjoyed watching this video.
My first free workshop. Lots of good insights. Look forward to more!
I feel this is a good insight on abtract painting as this is not a art subject to be easily understood. These guys are really generous in putting these information into a long form video to benefit us👍👏
I love it! It’s funny how you go through stages of really liking it, thinking you should put your brush down, but you add more, then not liking it, and then coming to another phase, and loving it! knowing when to quit is one of the hardest decisions! 😁

I CALL IT *THE FINISHING TOUCHES* SYNDROME,,,~,SOMETIMES WE GOT TO KNOW WHEN WE NEED TO LEAVE IT ALONE,,,LOL!! (PS, IM SORRY FOR CAPS-LOCK ARE STUCK, IMMA NOT SHOUTING!!)
First, I love how you collaborate. Second, I love your method. Finally, I absolutely love this abstract! It took me 3 months to paint my one and only abstract. For everyone who says, “My 5-year-old could do that”… probably easier than an adult, but much harder than you might think… composition, color, balance… everything that they don’t realize.

Although if you call a painting an abstract it should still represent something not just lines and lots of bright and dark colours to get composition and depth
I have stumbled across you and your daughter and I am absolutely inspired.
Great team -> John & Elli Please do more & more together !!!! Thank you
I had a good laugh at “Wonder twins power 😅 Activate!” Too funny - thanks for the free lesson
Your stories are generous & I learn so much from them. Elli’s analogies are fab & I love John’s golf game announcing tone!
I think it looks like a city seen through clouds wonderful x
I collect cool magazines for collage. I appreciate how you show the steps in your abstract painting.
Mastery was one of THE BEST investments I ever made in myself! love you guys!

Will purchase your book and give a review!
I have always done art as a kind of meditation and never considered a career as a professional artist having had 5 children I have always considered myself a student, but maybe it is just an identity problem. I hope to gain more skills in painting with all Mediums. I see that just putting in the work makes a world of difference. If I can produce 70 paintings in a year, and sell then I will declare then my professional status with conviction. Thank you for sharing your considerable experience with practical advice.❤
Thank you for sharing your great knowledge, all your hard work, inspiration, and consistency.
❤ Simply wonderful! Thank you!
Awesome painting and process - thanks for sharing! ❤❤❤
❤ Found you through the competition show! love everything!
Love it. Learning Lots xx
I learned so much today, Thank you again
I accidentally stumbled into this video and found it super helpful and informative. As someone who does art more on the realism side, but always wanted to do abstract, this is one of the first vids I've found that actually explain it properly (that makes sense to me anyway) Thanks so much!
Thank you from Germany ❤
🎉It's beautiful and lovely touch.
Great art therapy you can read mind of the artist 👩🎨
First workshop, love it❤
I have already bought the book right now🤗. Thank you so much💌. I watched all of your presentations, and nobody could be comparable with you. I am so glad my friend told me about you. Love all of your talented, beautiful family. ❤

What a team! Thank you both for this video!
Thats really a beautiful painting. I loved when u spray painted using the different stencils
❤ I have learned so much from this worship! I love the end result!
Watching from Croatia! You too are such a great power couple! You have changed my way of looking at the art and abstract in particular. Abstract can be such a fun and beauty at the same time. Thank you for this valuable lesson and all you do in order to help us change the world with our art❤
Hi guys!!! My name is Eva and I'm from Athens, Greece. Actually I discovered you yesterday and I really love your work. I basically feel like I found the art teachers I never had. I am also an artist, I have always been since I was a little girl and my dream ang goal was and still is, to become a successful artist. But I've never had teachers take me the step further as you do through your workshops. I have also been blocked for many years and could not paint for a long time. Since yesterday watching you on youtube, you inspired me so much that I managed to pick up the pencil again and draw. I am very happy to have found you and I will do my best to follow your master program as well. Thank you Ellie and John!!🙏❤️
❤ this is the 1st free workshop i have seen. I found this channel today. Tgank you. I appreciate the lessons
I'm so excited. I feel I've wasted my whole life by not "being" an artist. It was all I wanted to do when I was little and I had talent, won prizes. But my parents beat it out of me... Artists starve! So I became a nurse. :/ Now I am almost 65 and thrilled to have found you! And you are just like me, not stuffy and polished but delightfully down to earth and even a little bit geeky. Lol. I love that! And I will probably sign up for your master class. THANK YOU SO MUCH!! ❤🙌🏻🙄😘

❤ Yes, this is my first workshop of your series of artwork. g looking forwardsee more and learn mor
First time found this channel and love it, feeling excited to challenge myself and learn more from you, thank you ❤
I've been painting by myself or learning to paint by myself for about a year. I like abstract so learning to do it properly i'm excited
Thank you. I found useful information in this workshop as an experienced artist and illustrator. Like… be careful of dealers. The spray paint info. As well as the other nontoxic choices. As well as hearing the encouragement to work more often in oils… and finish the edges for a more professional look. My paintings are collage and acrylic mixed media… as well as watercolor, colored pencil…and many illustrations in just ink. Sincerely, Janet
Wow! Fantastically beautiful... This is my first time of seeing program art like this. I came online and I just met you guys coincidentally. I am really happy I didn't miss this opportunity because I got alot from this. I most say Thanks. I am watching you from Nigeria.
Thank you very much, I love it. Will look for more.... 60 years old, watching from Germany and always painting or sketching
