I have very little knowledge about anything tech related and rely heavily on KZread for setting up/fixing my desktop and accessories. I just recently updated my Windows software, requiring me to reinstall my webcam software, but it wasn't running the way it should have been. Even though your video is a couple of years old and not all of the processes are the same, it was EXTREMELY helpful so thank you so much!

Thank you for posting this. I was having a lot of issues, especially with going to a black screen or getting e set source to cam engine popup whenever I c=hanged resolution. Seems fixed.

hey man! i did all what you said. but the quality of the image isnt that great. its kinds "snowy". im wondering if its because my usa port is 3.1? its says it has to be a 3.0. but all i see is that 3.0 is now called 3.1? i dont know anymore... can you help me?

Thank you for the video. I purchased this camera and ran into another problem. When it was all installed and Cam Engine also, I started having issues with my mics. It was acting crazy in the settings, going in and out. And when I was connected to zoom my mic did not want to work. So I removed the Cam Engine software and now the camera works fine with no mic issues, but I would like to use the Cam Engine eventually. You think following these steps on this video will help with the issues I am running into on my computer?

Should I try to install with antivirus on first and if that fails then do your method? The newest version of the firmware and camengine is v3.4.15.1 not the one that you showed on screen, correct? And which certain computers are you talking about having trouble with it? I have a 1 month old xps159500

Hi Andrew, love your videos and appreciate the attention to detail. Feedback from my end for mac users who like old macs (that often are more powerful or reliable than new ones) who are hesitant to upgrade to newer MacOS, this camera's firmware and software will not run on MacOs lower than 10.15. I don't seem to find an older version of the software that actually works on 10.13 High Sierra. When I did it gave the same error message of "only 10.15" or higher.

Can you plug it into USB 3.1? Or does it have to be at minimum 3.0

I purchased this camera based off your recommendations and this video. Cant get it looking anywhere near as good and have pretty solid lighting. (Upgrading from the brio)

@@NonProphet420 I got my camera working and shooting great. Sadly the thing burned up and I'm asking for replacement number 2 now.

Can you make a video on how to deal with all the overheating and bricking itself that happens? I'm on camera replacement number 2. There's plenty of reviews mentioning this and reddit threads. Looks like maybe an upgraded USB cord could help.

What's team? And I had this camera for a while. I thought I had it looking good but after messing with some settings it looks good! For some reason wwhen you put it to 1080 60fps it looks like crap but in 30fps it looks good.

Same issue, I've tried all different cables and all my other USB 3.2 devices connect normally but not the PW513. I cannot get it onto USB 3.2

Did all the steps. But CamEngine doesn't open when I click the desktop icon.

I really wanted this to work. Originally I wanted the Razer Kiyo Pro to work, but both of them ended up looking like a grainy mess, regardless of image optimization. Looked even more grainy after the firmware updates. I presume maybe my PC isn't as compatible with them. My Avermedia 313 has less grain and works better, and it was 80 bucks by default. If anyone has any idea on what the problem is, my ears are wide open.

Why does cam engine 4 have fewer options than cam engine 3?

Btw. the wrong USB cable can effectively downgrade to USB 2.0 so watch out for that.
