I need an updated tutorial with the latest software because there are a ton of options that have changed, the whole layout is different. Your content is amazing!

Just went for it. I like that you included what settings work best or need to be adjusted depending on the user's skin color!

This is such underrated camera. I tried your settings and it improved the quality by quite some margin!! I even enabled the AI auto framing in the latest version of the software, and it's fantastic!! It adds another level of dynamism to the stream (I am a software developer instructor) that it blows me away!!! :O It's almost criminal you have so few views. Thanks a lot for such a good content, by the way!!

I started streaming/ recording gameplay about 4 months ago. I bought this webcam because I wanted to start off with good quality videos. This is a good camera! I compared it to other peoples on twitch and youtube. I use 1080 60 fps because I mostly do a hand cam and it's fast motion.

How is it?!

Every timeI start using the cam on other software the settings other than the sliders all disappear and is not applied to the camera. V frustrating.

Hi there: followed you tutorials to the letter to set up. but tilt/pan dont' work. When I click on tilt or pan, I get a little popup graphic that has 4K and 60fps crossed out! I also am using OBS. Did I screw up settings somehow? Thanks so much. You Rock!

They made so many changes in the Version 4 of Avermedia Cam Engine, the video quality setting is now gone... :(

Theres no way to revert right? Just got mine and it seems like youtubers got paid to say its the best. So much noise....

I am having issues locating the settings to change the resolution to 1080p in Camengine, can anyone help me on this? Also, how do you guys deal with glasses reflection?

Does anyone have any tips to make the camera look better with Team? I just installed this webcam yesterday and it looks quite pixelated, but on the Zoom it looks marvelous.

Can we use the CamEngie software to frame a shot in another video software such as bomb bomb? For instance, when using bomb bomb, the Logitech software would let me frame the shot while in bomb bomb, while the CamEngie software opens with bomb bomb, it does not give me access to the zoom feature, so I am unable to can frame my shot.

I got a lot out of your videos (2) One comparing the AverMedia 513 cam to the Logitech Brio 4K Webcam & the other best software setting for my 513. I did notice while following you settings suggestions on my screen for (advanced) adjusting White Balance, Backlight, mine was missing (zoom, pan, tilt, exposure, gain). I don't have a separate microphone (is this why ?) but try as I may I couldn't get those settings/bars to show on that screen ? Any thought s ? Kevin 65 U.S. Army Veteran

Anyone else had a grainy/blurry preview when installed? If so what’s the best way to fix it? I’ve played with settings but it’s still grainy… would I need to create more lighting?

I love the camera except for one thing: During almost every recording, the lips and voice go out of sync. I've adjusted all kinds of things but it still does it. How can I keep the voice and lip movements in sync? Thanks.

Is it possible to turn the cam quality down? My computer cannot handle it and the cpu runs at 100 percent

Have you tested it with a Mac M1 and OS 11? I'm struggling to find a good camera for Big Sur (even the Logitech doesn't fully support OS 11).

I use it on an M1 Mac Mini. It works fine except for voice/lip synchronization. I have asked Andrew to address the issue.

I'm using a macbook pro 2018, with a 2.3 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5 Processor. When I turn into High Quality, it lags. Is this normal?

Prob's just use high fluency. You normally would be able to use high quality, however, doing things on the computer at the same time will cause it to lag (like zoom, using chrome or just background apps.

So I don't have that fancy "Advanced Settings" tab. Mine only shows White balance, background lighting and Anti-Flicker. I don't have exposure or anything else

@@minasawi I figured it out, there’s a zip file with the most recently updated firmware on the website, you have to check it vs the camengine application to see which you need. It’s on their downloads page, should be around the cam engine download I just don’t remember lol..

Anyone else here having issues with their camera being very pixelated ?

For all of you out there who are wondering why you can't adjust the camera to be as great as him and just see grainy. I'll be straight with you all, most of those settings (brightness, smoothing, skin tone, etc...) don't do shit to your image quality. Heck you literally see that if you crank brightness to 0 and then to 100, it does nothing. The reason why his image looks so nice is because he has a round light right behind the camera shining his face. Don't believe me? Turn exposure down to 80ish and gain to 60. It'll make your image a little dark but smooth enough to test. Now just take your smartphone and use its flashlight and put it behind the camera flashing your face. TA DA, suddenly you see bright and well colored. The grains are almost gone. The thing is these youtubers have about 2 to 3 different lights shining on their faces and background from behind or on the side of the cameras. All these lights participate in removing the impurities that this shitty camera shows on its capture. I don't recommend this camera for anyone who just wishes to have a webcam good enough for conference calls and doesn't have a whole setup of lightings and light reflectors as if you are a one man movie studio.

Wheres the "Links below." You speak of every time you say this in your videos? I see no links to the other videos, just affiliate links. It would help a ton if they were actually inside your details section as I clearly do not have the time to sift through or search through the hundreds of videos you have to find one it might not even be. I guess for now ill just go else where.
