I’m so happy this band has been getting the recognition they deserve, they are easily one of the best metal bands out there today. Feathers and Flesh is a practically perfect concept album, and everything else they have dropped over the past decade has been really great.

Loved Black Waltz, (mind is blacking out but the album after that) Get in Line? and Feathers and Flesch. But every album after that has had only 2 or 3 songs I liked on it sadly, this one of those songs though. Even though I'm not that interestes anymore, glad they got so many views and fans nowadays.

It's based on a movie the same a ballerina who is possessed by someone else and they do harm to them by dancing in such a contorted way that the real person ends up dead and all that remain is the evil soul look up the movie I highly recommend it it's called Suspiria but from 1977 has to be by Dario Argento the original not the remakes that is ehh but the 1977 Dario Argento one is awesome and gory 😊💜👍

The guy has range, low growls/mids, good clean and he does a good AC/DC impression if you listen to the king wants you you’ll know what I mean, and the band generally play with so many different genres it’s refreshing going album to album, all sounds like them but there’s a clear difference between most albums

This is one of the best songs they’ve ever written. What a masterpiece. It has everything.

Johannes killing it on the vocal front as usual, and what seems like a really schizophrenic song at first ended up really powerful. I liked how in the end, as is often the case in real life, the key to her escaping from her situation was around her neck (i.e. right before her) and she was too wrapped up in her own fear and drama to notice that. In real life, taking responsibility for your own stuff and dealing with it is usually the best way to deal with most anything, though, really. I like how that was conveyed, here, with the dancer's movements and expressions; she was struggling with everything but the actual cause of the trouble, was the impression I got, and it was well presented. Good show, fellows!

He's so serious about sin that he gave anyone who sins the death sentence, the bible says you've earned it through sinning against God and each time you sin you build up his wrath. “The soul who sins shall die.” (Ezekiel 18:4) The punishment is the eternal fires of Hell " Where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth" (Matthew 13:42) You will have to face God on Judgement Day. Will you go to Heaven or Hell? That's like bribing God to let you into heaven; Nor a church, pastor, priest, or any religion. None of us are good at all, even murderers, rapists, even Hilter will call themselves Good and they'll try to justify themselves by their Good works. But the bible says: • "But we are all like an unclean thing, and all of our righteousnesses are like filthy rags; we fade as a leaf, and our iniquities, like wind have taken us away." (Isaiah 64:6) God's definition of good is morally excellent and therefore he demands absolute pperfections. No one can ever match his standards. That's why Jesus said: • " No one is good except God alone." (Luke 18:19) If you have done any of those things, God sees you as guilty of breaking His law and the Bible warns that the guilty will end up in Hell. Will YOU be guilty on Judgement Day? "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 6:23) God sent His Son to suffer and die on the cross. Jesus took the punishment upon Himself and defeated death on the cross; not because your Good but because God is rich in mercy. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16) Jesus rose from the dead and defeated death. Repent (turn from sin) today and trust in Jesus and God will grant you everlasting life; you'll also be born again. He'll give you a new heart that desires righteousness, what is just and a heart that will love God. that is why Jesus said "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." (John 3:3) Then, Read the Bible and obey what you read. ☆ When Are You Going To Get Right With God? “Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as you did in the rebellion“ (Hebrews 3:15) “Now is the accepted time, behold now is the day of salvation.” (2 Corinthians 6:2) • " Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." Hate to tell you this, but they're atheists!

This song is a fucking great advocate for mental health issues and encouragement to keep on pushing through. I have a friend that is schizo-effective. The interpretation of the girl being attacked by an alternate version of herself seems as a perfect depiction of that. I don't know if mental illness is what it's actually about, but I'd venture to imagine it is. Great lyrics!

@@sgtraytango well, it’s a matter of preference. Some bands will connect with some people and some won’t. But I’d have to say that with Avatar it wasn’t love at first sight for me. I heard stuff that didn’t seem to do it for me and then I would hear something really cool, that made me curious about the band. I kept discovering stuff which was too different from what I usually liked but that made me admire them, because of their boldness and uniqueness. Little by little I was diving into their music and suddenly I was loving them. I would say that has been the Avatar way for many (or at least from what I’ve heard in comments once in a while), so it’s hard to explain. Still, may be they will never be your thing and that is ok, but, if you saw HIM in them I would just say “listen to the whole album”... and just may be... may be... you will find what I found, or may be not, and that is just the magic of music, not everything is for everyone. But give it a shot. Hope you enjoy the ride.🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼

Nobody portrays struggle visually n musically with such raw beauty than Avatar... as a devout artist n music lover (metal especially) for nearly 40 years i can genuinely n confidently state this

Best thing in the video besides the music!

I think this song is beyond amazing. I think it is by far their best song. It is almost at 2 million but it should be much higher than that. It captures everything that Avatar does so well.

The Best thing about 2020 is that I found this band!!!

I followed this band when the band had 15 thousand vieuws and i must say this unique band deserves to be a headligner. I remember when they just showed up sometimes on the smaller stage at alcatraz Festival Belgium

They've been building up a big US fanbase! I saw them at LTL16 and BRRF21 and they were great, big crowds. They'll be headlining in no time.

There is no door, no matter how badly I want one.

This has a system of a down feel to it. This band never ceases to amaze and morph their sound with every album but remain with that avatar signature style.

I am now officially a member of Avatar country, have been listening to rock and every kind of metal for nearly 20 years, shame on me for only finding this band now, my neighbour's already love smells like a freakshow, avatar country, bloody angel and the eagle has landed, have downloaded all of there albums, does anybody recommend any more of there songs, for me mainly but my neighbour's as well lol, I'm assuming they like Avatar too, why else would they shout and bang on my wall 😂

La muerte, es uno de los eventos más grandes que jamás tendrá lugar en tu vida. Afrontamos la muerte todos los días, consciente o inconscientemente de ella; la muerte acecha en cada rincón de nuestra vida. Como un león esperando atrapar a su presa, la muerte nos llega a todos en muchas formas y formas; aparentemente no hay nadie que pueda escapar de las fauces de la muerte. ¿Pero sabías que hay una razón por la que morimos? La idea de la muerte con la que está familiarizado es solo la punta del iceberg. Mira, morimos porque hemos pecado contra Dios. La muerte según la Biblia es paga "porque la paga del pecado es muerte" (Romanos 6:23).Debido a que el hombre pecó contra Dios, vivimos en un mundo caído, antes era perfecto, pero ahora está en ruinas. Ahora que el pecado existe, Dios viene a juzgar al mundo con justicia. Está establecido que un hombre muera una vez y después de este juicio "(Hebreos 9:27). El estándar por el que te juzgará son los 10 mandamientos, la ley moral de Dios. Él es tan serio acerca del pecado que le dio a cualquiera que pecara la sentencia de muerte, la Biblia dice que te la has ganado pecando contra Dios y cada vez que pecas, acumula su ira. "El alma que pecare, esa morirá". (Ezequiel 18: 4) El castigo son los fuegos eternos del Infierno "Donde habrá llanto y crujir de dientes" (Mateo 13:42) Tendrás que enfrentarte a Dios el Día del Juicio. ¿Irás al cielo o al infierno? Aquí hay una prueba rápida: 1-No tendrás otros dioses delante de mí. 2-No harás ídolos. 3-No tomarás el nombre del Señor tu Dios en vano, porque el Señor no dará por inocente al que tome su nombre en vano. 4-Recuerda el día de reposo. 5-Honra a tu padre y a tu madre. 6-No matarás. 7-No cometerás adulterio. 8-No robarás. 9-No mentirás. 10-No codiciarás. ¿Alguna vez has dicho una mentira? robado algo? usó el nombre de Dios en vano? ¿Alguna vez has mirado a alguien con lujuria? Él ve la lujuria como adulterio, “Cualquiera que mira a una mujer con codicia, ya adulteró con ella en su corazón” (Mateo 5:28). ¿Alguna vez has odiado a alguien? él ve el odio como un asesinato, "Cualquiera que odie a otro hermano o hermana es un homicida" (1 Juan 3:15) Santiago 2:10 dice, "la persona que guarda todas las leyes excepto una es tan culpable como una persona que ha quebrantado todas las leyes de Dios". No confíe en su propia bondad o buenas obras para salvarlo. Eso es como sobornar a Dios para que te deje entrar al cielo; Ni una iglesia, pastor, sacerdote o religión alguna. Ninguno de nosotros es bueno en absoluto, incluso los asesinos, violadores, incluso Hilter se llamarán buenos y tratarán de justificarse por sus buenas obras. Pero la biblia dice: • "Pero todos somos como cosa inmunda, y todas nuestras justicias son como trapos de inmundicia; nos marchitamos como una hoja, y nuestras iniquidades, como el viento nos llevaron". (Isaías 64: 6) La definición de Dios del bien es moralmente excelente y, por lo tanto, exige perfecciones absolutas. Nadie puede igualar sus estándares. Por eso Jesús dijo: • "Nadie es bueno sino solo Dios". (Lucas 18:19) Si ha hecho alguna de esas cosas, Dios lo ve como culpable de quebrantar su ley y la Biblia advierte que los culpables terminarán en el infierno. ¿Serás culpable el día del juicio final? "Porque la paga del pecado es muerte, pero la dádiva de Dios es vida eterna en Cristo Jesús Señor nuestro". (Romanos 6:23) Dios envió a su Hijo a sufrir y morir en la cruz. "Hoy, si escuchan su voz, no endurezcan su corazón como lo hicieron en la rebelión" (Hebreos 3:15) "Ahora es el tiempo aceptable, he aquí ahora el día de salvación". (2 Corintios 6: 2) • "Tampoco hay salvación en ningún otro, porque no hay otro nombre bajo el cielo dado a los hombres en el que podamos ser salvos". (Hechos 4:12) Es tu elección. Los dejo con esto: "¿De qué le aprovechará al hombre si gana el mundo entero y pierde su alma?" (Marcos 8:36). Si te estás tomando esto en serio, ¿te gustaría una oración? Esta oración no es garantía de que serás salvo, eso es entre tú y Dios. Sin embargo, me gustaría que este fuera un buen comienzo para su viaje. First real exposure to Avatar. They are artsy AF and I'm here for it.

Defeating yourself. This video made me cry with hope. Thank you🤘🖤🤘

I find the lilting sadness in the verses, along with the jangly guitar work to be enormously appealing. "Trust was the first thing, we lost that day...." Chills!

I hear this song countless times on repeat, there is nothing to not love about it, the dancer is amazing and even powerful, the visual and the story telling are incredible, the whistling Corey Taylor gives it yet an extra kick so settle the mood for the song to be played, the instruments has so fantastic rythm that can swaps between headbinging to complete calm mood, and the voice of Johannes never lets me down, he is an fantastic singer and I think alot of artist could learn alot from Avatar c:

The lady acting in this is fantastic. Good job!

Eu conhecia antes, fui um dos únicos que cantei kkkkk, o iron maiden fez muito bem ao darem a oportunidade para essa banda abrir o show deles, assim todos conhecem esse som maravilhoso que eles fazem

Saw these guys back in September and they played this song and it BANGS live. Don’t sleep on Avatar live. Do your self a favor. If they play a show near you, go to it. They are such a great live band. They are definitely the perfect band

This is a perfect video. And I fell in love with his voice after the first time I heard it . Maybe because it hits home.

Six minutes of pure enjoyment. The pictures, the incredibly talented dancer and what can I say about Avatar that hasn't already being said? This is a masterpiece, for all those who have felt the dread and sorrow so well described artistically here... Normally I shed a tear watching this. Thanks to all those who fight, and friend you must know that you're not alone. I'm a fighter now. Let's fight together!

One of the best bands I've ever seen live, and I'd never heard of them before seeing them play. New within the first couple notes these guys were something special. Looking around you could see others were experiencing the same thing. Truly some very talented musicians, truly some badass rockers.

I have been a massive fan of Avatar since I heard my first song from them. "Bloody Angel!" Avatar is everything that I love in artistic writing, performance, and brilliant self identity. I love you guys! Believe it or not, your music has helped me let go of some painful shit. Thank you 👄

Thank you so much for this video. Secret Door became one of my favorite tracks of 2020, and this portrayal of a battle within ourselves brought a tear to my eyes. 🤘😭🤘

To me Johan Carlen is the sixth member of the band! I like as much Avatar music as their videos😁 a great video for a great title (again) 😁 hail to Avatar 🙂
